This quaint store originated in Shanghai and offers fried chicken. I tried the mozzarella chicken, fish cakes, and popcorn... chicken. I found the mozzarella chicken to be quite powdery on the outside, which I didn't quite like, however the cheesinesswas good. Overall, I found the food here to be quite salty. Modern atmosphere for a quick meal. The chicken was seasoned well. Better than hot star in my opinion. We ordered the chicken... wings and popcorn chicken. Nobody was there in the afternoon, I'm assuming they mostly do takeout business. But they do havelots of space. Highly recommended! Go check it out! Read more
Delicious spicy chicken! I've tried many fried chicken restaurants and this has to be my all time favourite (better than hot... star!!). We were on our way to Hot Star for some fried chicken and saw this place. Decided to try it out. Orders the Cheese Filled fried... chicken with Lychee and Hot Crispy Fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. I order regular spicy and it was spicy. The cheesewas perfectly porpotioned. There were no bones which is great and it was very filling. The fries were perfectly chrispy andperfectly seasoned with chili. The space was spacious with plenty of seating. It was very clean and staff were very friendly. Iwould definitely recommend. Nice little place with actually quite a bit of seating for its size. Finally got to try the cheeseplosion and it felt kind of... average. The portion is quite large and there is a lot of cheese inside. The meat is moist and well seasoned. The cheese I feellike lacked flavour and I think they might be better off using cheese whiz like the original philly cheese steak places. I feellike hot star has a better crust flavour but its greasier than here. I think I'll try the Szechaun chicken next time. TheCheesplosion probably just wasn't for me. Read more
