In the area with my sister and hungry as a horse, spotted the Donair sign and that being one of our favourite foods, we just ... had to try their version. So glad we did. Had the spicy beef Donair wrap and it was quite uniquely delicious and huge for theprice. I couldn't finish mine so had the other half the next night for dinner, another of my favourite things, dinner alreadywaiting for me. We'll definitely be going back. Read more
Poutine is Horrible, they put way too much gravy(and that stuff was too runny so it didnt even stick on the fries) I actually... barfed afterwards because I think the chicken wasn't cooked properly. As a fellow that grew up in Halifax and sampled the East Coast Donair many, many times on Pizza Corner, I know the taste and... texture of our food. Now the big question on everyone's lips is is it the same? The short answer is No. To explain what isdifferent is the meat and sauce, I know what is missing but do you? I will say it is extremely good and I did enjoy the freshveggies as I had "the works" and a large to boot! Their menu is extensive and certainly, there is something for mostpeople. Read more
Had a nice visit, the guy asked me to wait for 10 minutes, I ended up having to wait almost 25 minutes for a Medium Pepperoni... Pizza and a Large Poutine. The Poutine was horrible! My stomach would also agree. Have a look at the pictures. There is littleto no gravy on the poutine. I flipped it upside down to find a little tiny bit of gravy and some old soggy fries and a bit ofcheese. Will never go there again. Read more
Great menu selection and one of the best donairs Ive had. Clean premises, friendly staff. One drawback: two staff weren?t... wearing their masks properly. I?d go back tho. Nice option in the neighbourhood. Read more
Ordered on UberEats. We were looking for a new Shawarma place in our area and decided to try out Pure Pizza & Burger, hoping it... would become our 'new spot'. Unfortunately, we ran into a few issues. We ordered 2 chicken shawarma platters, as well as 2pieces of fried chicken. What we received were two shawarma wraps. This in itself wouldn't have been horrible, except thesewraps were completely disintegrating and fell apart even before the first bite. On top of this, the fried chicken pieces wereserved in nothing but a brown paper bag, that was soaked in grease by the time it got to us. All this made for a supremelydisappointing experience. The taste itself was pretty decent, so i might order from them once more to see if this was a fluke,or if this is their regular quality. I guarantee if I receive the same kind of service, they will never see my business again. Read more
