Amazing food, exceptional service and great patio. Must try American breakfast/brunch spot if you are around downtown. 5/5 will... keep visiting. Adding pictures from my various visits. Read more

My first time at this location and it was a good experience. I was seated at the back by the kitchen that's very loud rather... than at the front of house that was empty. Pancakes and French toast are amazing. The menu didn't have salmon Beni on it, whichlater we found out, that it can still be ordered. Our server wasn't the most friendly one, but all is good. Visited on a Friday morning with a group of 6. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated - split our group into 2 tables of 3 because... they said they had no tables large enough for us, but then sat a single person at a table set for 8 directly next to us. Didn'tquite make sense to us. Ordered Eggs Benedict dishes and French toast. Eggs Benedict dishes were decent (some of the eggs looksundercooked), and the French toast was fine. Prices were moderate. Service wasn't overly friendly or quick. Overall fineexperience but probably wouldn't return. Read more

This was my first visit to this particular Eggspectation location and my wife and I went for a late breakfast/brunch. I had the... French toast with eggs, bacon and home fries. All of it was very tasty, especially the French toast which they got just right.Plus they gave a generous portion of maple syrup which is a must IMO. They had run out of oat milk so I didn't get to try theircoffee this time. My wife went for their Mac and cheese with bacon and it was very oily. They used penne pasta not the usualmacaroni. Flavour it was good, but the oiliness made it too much for her to finish. My food was a solid 5 stars but my wife'swas a 3 at best so I gave a generous 4 stars. If you visit hear maybe avoid the Mac and cheese! Read more

Nice breakfast place. Had classic eggs Benedict but asked for sauce on the side so that I can add the amount I need. Taste... great! Only spoiler was that card machine was down today and I had to pay cash. Otherwise service was good. Read more

FOOD: 4/5 The classic breakfast was alright. Eggs were the way I like 'em. The French toast was nice and sweet. Bacon was way... too crispy to the point that I couldn't even chew on it. The sneaky tactic of charging extra for fruit was not cool. Who thehell wants to eat potatoes in the morning? A fruit salad should be the default. The menu lacks photos which would make orderinga perfect meal that much easier. Overall, I had a filling breakfast, but there are some great alternatives in the area toconsider: - Aroma (20 Wellington St East #2) - Paddington's Pump (91 Front St East) SERVICE: 5/5 Great service! No complaintswhatsoever. Read more

Everything was very spotless and clean. The food was plated well and looked very appetizing. Service and dining ambience was... excellent. We went for brunch, and ordered the Chicken 'N Waffles ($16.95) and the Classic (Egg) Benedict ($14.95). Both orderscame out alright but could have been better. The watermelon included in the Classic Benedict tasted bland and could have beensweeter. The potato wedges will have been fried a few moments longer. I would have wanted to give full marks but I think theyalso may have had my hot beverage order wrong. I inquired if they have a coffee and tea menu, and the server mentioned theydon't but they should most likely have most of the drinks available. I then asked for London Fog, however the server did notseem to know what it was so I just made it more general and instead asked for Earl Grey tea. Then later on looking at myreceipt what shows on the item list ordered is Orange Pekie Tea. Now I am not sure if they even had my drink order right. I waspreocuppied with my time eating, and with my companion so I did not really mind the drink as it was served. This relativelyminor mix up or confusion kept it from being a perfect overall experience. Read more
