I'd be lying if I said that El Pocho wasn't my favourite Mexican restaurant in Toronto. Although slightly out of the city, El... Pocho is well worth the trek as they have an extensive menu that has a little bit of everything for everyone. I've takencountless friends and business partners here and each leave with a smile on their face and have since become recurring patronstoo. If you're looking for a good place, this is the one, folks. With a great lunch menu, dinner menu, and brunch menu, thisplace caters to your cravings at any time you may have them. I’ve been wanting to try El Pocho for awhile and it did not disappoint. My friend and I ordered the ceviche, elote and fish... tacos. The ceviche and fish tacos were incredible. The batter on the fish tacos was crispy and the temperature was good. It’shard to find a restaurant that does fish tacos well, but this place is spot on. I got side of their hot sauce, which is made inhouse. I will definitely be back to try more items off the menu. Read more

Great food and service. Our first visit to El Pocho Antojito and it won't be our last. We were seated immediately and within... minutes our friendly server Charlie appeared. He made suggestions for both our cocktails and meal. The mezcal old fashionedalong with fresh hot nachos and ceviche was a great way to start our meal. We enjoyed the fish, pork and chicken tacos. We were super excited with this place as we heard the tacos were wonderful. As our server came by, we were told that it was only... the brunch menu available. I wish they put that somewhere on the menu to let people know. Unfortunately the brunch selection,did not live up to the taco’s reputation. We were fairly disappointed! Service was a little slow ( took about 30-40 mins toget our food), but we did not mind. The chicken tinga was on the mediocre side - Pico de Gallo was not great but the tortillachip were amazing. As for the carne asada, it was decent and would definitely recommend over the chicken tinga. Regardless,I’d give this place another shot for the dinner time. Small hidden gem with great heated patio and very tentative staff. Brunch options were great and the churros were amazing, it... was not greasy at all, there were crunchy and not too sweet. Will definately go back for dinner. Read more
Gluten free churros! Need I say more? Actually, there is plenty more to say. Everything we've tried hit the spot 100%, the taco... with meat and cheese (sorry, I couldn't remember the name) is absolutely scrumptious! The Paloma I had to drink was just right,too! Vibes were very cute on the patio and the margarita was great. The chips and guac were also the star of the show. Our tacos took... a really long time to get to us so I kind of feel like they forgot, because everyone else who sat down and ordered after us wasgetting their food. Also 2 different people came out to reassure us that it’ll just be 10 more minutes? So I think they forgotlol. Then the fish taco itself didn’t feel so fresh. Not bad, would have preferred to stick with drinks and chips for nexttime. Read more
