Had the breakfast sandwich on the outdoor (uncovered) part of the patio on a rainy Thursday morning. The staff was incredible-... friendly and helpful- particularly as I had my dog so they wiped down a bench for me, brought my food out in take-out format aswell as a plate, checked in regularly. Breakfast sandwich was hot, perfect English muffin, sausage was perfect. Fluffyscrambled egg. Read more

Got an almond croissant. Good flavors. Very dense croissants though. Not too many layers, but a great crispy outer shell. One... croissant can be filling. Would I go again ? Maybe if I was in the area. But probably not worth the effort to go all theway. Huge loaves for sourdough looked enticing though, albeit expensive at approximately 13$ a loaf. Read more

Came here for the famous pistachio croissant. We arrived just after opening on a Sunday and there was already a long line. I... take that as a good thing though because that means it's definitely good. The pistachio croissant lived up to the hype with aton of sliced pistachios on top and a gooey pistachio filling in the middle. Really liked the flaky texture of the croissanttoo. The surprise hit for me was the breakfast sandwich though. I believe they make the sausage patty themselves? Either way, itwas so good, loved its seasoning and the english muffin it comes in was no slouch either, which is expected from a top-notchbakery. The sauce has that buffalo/hot sauce flavor to it so it has a bit of a kick to it. I enjoy that but the person I sharedit with said they weren't such a fan of the sauce, but they still somehow ate their half no problem. haha Read more

Worth the hype. Got here at 9:30 and famous pistachio croissants were sold out. The rest of the pastries were very good.... Mushroom bechamel brioche was the best! Had to wait ~30 to get in. Plan accordingly ???? Read more

I think this place is overrated. The croissant is buttery, but I would prefer them heat it up a bit. The mushroom quiche?s... flavour is good, but it?s super cold and when we asked for it to heat up, they said they can?t do that because it will fallapart. A bit disappointed. Was really looking forward to it. The Halloumi sandwich is average. I like the sourdough bread butthat?s about it. Overall I think this place is not worth for the wait. Read more

Emmer is incredible. They have the best croissants in the city. Everything they sell is fresh and service is usually pretty... efficient. I?ve been to their patio twice and have gotten take-out from them in other occassions and the quality is alwaysmesmerizing. Highly recommend their roast beef sandwich and the croque monsieur. Both amazing and better if consumed rightaway. They have two menus, one is the breakfast menu and it only goes until 11:30am and then they have their lunch menustarting at 11:45am. If you show up in that 15 min window you?ll have limited options for food as they?re transitioning. Thebest thing to do? Show up early and get the baked goods before they disappear. Prices aren?t necessarily low, but for thequality you?re getting its definitely worth it. The portions are also generous and filling. Read more
