This Fran's location has been here for over 12+ years and it's still consistently good! Their menu, the quality and quantity,... hasn't changed much. The servers were very friendly and got an overall warm vibe. They have a standard diner menu of optionswith all-day breakfast. We ordered lasagna, steak (with salad) and a milkshake. The milkshake is huge though, and worth sharing. The portion sizes are generous. This location is close to commuting to (via subway and streetcar). They are open fairly lateand worth visiting for food at any time! Read more

Retro diner in the city. A friend brought me to this place, and I found it to be quite nostalgic. Not sure Toronto has a lot of... diners, but this was a nice spot to have lunch. For the servings, they are quite large portions! Definitely getting yourmoney's worth, so do come with an empty stomach. I got myself a beef sandwich, which was really delicious. Also got a chocolatemilkshake, because I was in a diner! Great service, a bit slow though, but it was also a busy long weekend. Hope to try aproper breakfast next time I visit! Read more

Cute diner. I was so thrilled it was open late but not so thrilled to arrive to find the dining room closed and bathroom locked!... Would have been nice to be able to use while waiting for food. I ended up with a breakfast. The bacon eggs and pancakes weregood, but the sausages had that "gamey" flavor I was not fond of them. For those picky like I am, will understand what I mean.Marble rye is my absolute favorite type of toast, many places don't offer this. I found the prices (for the breakfast items) alittle high but still lower than other some TO places. I am giving this 3 stars, as I was displeased to be charged a higherprice than what was on the menu, not be able to use the washroom or sit down to eat. Read more

The place has a 50s setting to it and for those old enough it reminded of Mel?s Place from a show called Alice. The food was... excellent and the staff very helpful. The coffee however is 3$ and is not worth getting and does not come with the meal. I wouldsuggest trying this place out. They have an upstairs which I didn?t go to but it?s roof top, how cool is that. Read more

First time here and will definitely be back! The service was amazing, everyone was super kind and helpful. Our cocktails were... made well and we?re all very tasty and the pride Jell-O shots were so yummy! The fish tacos was good, however we found it to bea bit of a small portion compared to other menu items. The fish and chips was pretty good, but the fish was just average, however it is worth it for the price. Will definitely be back for the amazing vibe, music, and scenery! Read more

Went there for brunch on a rainy day. I had spaghetti and meatballs with shredded parmesan (I guess) on the side (in a small... clear container) and a lemonade. My partner had NY strip with mashed potato and veg (beans and carrots) on the side. Must saythe portions were bigger compared to the price. The food tasted good and the beverage was okay. Service was really prompt. Thenicest thing about the place is its old-school vibe. It's a vintage place and offers the coziness that makes you comfortable asyou dine. Didn?t know its 24hrs open. Will go for dinner sometimes soon. Read more

My partner and I came here and had a chill time at the upstairs bar area. The place is spacious and clean, with nice decor and... good music too. Lots of TVs playing sport games for those into that. The heaters were on pretty high so it was quite warm inthere. The food was alright, nothing special. Overall I liked the place and it's ambient, good for hanging out with friendsover some drinks and snacks. Read more

Pretty solid breakfast spot. Great potion size compared to the other breakfast places I've been to. It was pretty busy on a... Sunday morning - there was quite a few people waiting to be checked in, but overall the wait for a table was quite short. I gotthe classic eggs benedict, but all the other orders at the table all looked very delicious. I did notice the server didn't askhow I wanted my eggs to be done (for the benedict), but they were cooked very well regardless - I just know some places ask forthis. Paying for the bill took a while, but overall, it was a good experience. Would probably go again for breakfast. Read more
