Great sushi on Bayview. Found my new go to spot in midtown. Since I nixed my usual go to spot on Yonge north of Davisville... because of supposed "supreme" sushi that no longer held up to its name, I was searching for a new local Japanese place, andfound Fukui. A little bit more expensive, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Fukui fit the criteria for what Iwas looking for. Sushi was fresh and tasty. I got a dinner chicken bento box. The portions were generous given today?s economy and inflation. The chicken was well cooked... and juicy, and was placed on a bed of bean sprouts and broccoli. I wish the sauce had a little bit more flavour? or more sauce.The tempura shrimp was definitely more shrimp than panco/tempura batter, which is a good thing, but the tempura sauce I wishedwas a little bit more savoy.
