The food here is spectacular! We really enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Love the interior and the vibe of this place..... it's a lot of stairs!! Service was excellent with our waitress but the one lady who brought our dessert was kind od rude butother than that, we had a great experience. Read more

Enjoyed the ambiance, decor, view and exquisite food at Gusto 501. The staff is doing a good job at ensuring you’re having a... great time. The rooftop has a great view but if you’re inside the decor doesn’t make you feel you’re missing out onsomething. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and the drinks/wine selection was good, I would go back & recommend it Read more

This restaurant has a interesting layout with a few floors and different patio space. We dined on the street patio but they have... one on the upper floors as well. The food is a solid 4.5 - the pizzas were really good for fancy pizza and lots oftoppings. The wait staff were friendly and moved more umbrellas over our table when it started raining. Would come back to trysome of their pasta dishes or fancier mixed drinks. Read more

The food was spectacular. We LOVED our visit. We're certainly coming back ... but... the service was kind of dreadful. We... enjoyed an appetizer, wine, entrees and dessert. During our meal we were never once asked how everything was or if we neededanything. The server was not overly attentive to our table and it took 20min for us to flag her down to request the bill, thenanother 20min before the bill finally came. I don't personally believe 40min of waiting to pay to be an acceptable amount oftime. Once again, the food and atmosphere were phenomenal but upon our next visit we really hope we have a better experience. Read more

Overall, the food and service was alright. The waitress services were okay, although, she was friendly and talkative. The drinks... took forever to arrive at our table and one drink we had to ask where it was as it seemed to be forgotten or took too long to bebrought to us. Portions are small for the price and the flavour was mediocre. The food was cool when it arrived at our table butthe environment of the restaurant was lively. The best platter from our night was the Campanelle which I recommend getting ifyou are going. Read more

The food was delicious and our waitress was great, but the people at the bar took a while to bring a glass of wine to the table.... The food came super fast and seemed very fresh though. They didn't allow us to eat on the upper floors when we first arrived, and when we were leaving, we noticed plenty of people there as you can see at the photos, so 4 stars. I loved the walls'fixtures, gorgeous. Read more

Overall food was okay. Portions were small for the price, as we ordered arancini and pizza. The pizza was burnt and when we... talked to the server, we were told it was "authentic Italian" style. Pizza was good for the non burnt parts. Service was slowbut drinks were good. Decor and ambiance was nice, and we were seated at the bar upstairs which was a fun experience. Read more

This was my 1st time at 501. First impressions for the location was a bit weird. Building looks nice and modern. I believe there... is about 4 levels and a rooftop. I really like the decor and the coziness. Service was fantastic. Fast and attentive. I wasn'ttoo fond of the house red but there is a plethora of choice. Food selection is really nice and the list isn't too crazy. Justenough. Let me tell you the pasta and kale were to DIE FOR. You have to try the Kale. Pasta wise the truffle one isDIVINE!! Food came at a very good time, mind you it wasn't busy when we got there. Definitely one of my top 10 in Toronto. Willdefinitely come back and bring more people. Read more
