This place is busy all the time so I decided to check it out myself. The place is compact and crowded. Most of the time it?s a... full house. You either dine in, order for delivery or order over delivery app for pick up. Don?t go here and order to take out.Personally I have had a bad experience here. Walking in and ordering to go will take 25-30min for the order. This place servessome good variety of Chinese dishes. Their menu is extensive and there are lots of dishes to choose from. I had the chance totry a couple of their items and believe me it?s filling. This restaurant is fast paced and the portions per plate is enough fortwo meals and can easily feed two people. They make the dish to the spice level requested. Would recommend to try this placefor some late night munchies or if your simply craving some Chinese cuisine as they are open till late night. The restaurant is clean and the waitress are kind and helpful. We ordered lobster combo choices (double lobsters, steamed fish,... fried bean curd with assorted seafood and meat in hot pot, plus hot sour soup). The price is $75 dollars plus tax and tips. Alldishes taste delicious. Possibly will come here again. Read more
Incredibly nice and authentic Cantonese/Hong Kong restaurant. We go to this place after we finished touring High Park every... year. Must order their number 301 rice combo (in the pic). Rost pork as sides is also good, the skin is crunchy and the meat istender. Their onion rings are also worth eating. Free chicken soup. Can order iced coffee and milk tea mix(not on the menu butcan speak with the waitress). Read more
Casual place for chinese food in China town. The price is very reasonable. The place is actually spacious and has a big menu... from breakfast to late dinner. Their staffs are super fast and nice! This is my go to place to get Roasted pork! Read more
Located right across Dundas street west, House of Gourmet offers great variety in Chinese food at a reasonable price. We visited... this place around 12:30 am on a weekday and this place was still 60% filled with guests. Tried their whole Lobster, Dimsums,General Tao's chicken, Hot Pot, and Fried rice and all the items tasted really good. Would specially recommend to try out theirseafood and the Lobster because it's delicious! A must visit place if you're nearby. Highly recommended. Read more
Awesome place for Peking duck. Meat is juicy and has great flavour. The crepe wraps are perfectly thin and the hoisin peanut... sauce is too good. Take any leftover sauce packed to go - don't let it go to waste! Read more
Food portions are huge, that was really unexpected, and the bill was also very fair. Menu's variety is really impressive.
