When I come to Yorkdale I stop by here. Cute cafe, with lots of space if you?re dining in. The cookies & coffee are always... great! There sometimes is a line, that moves pretty quickly. Oh, Italian coffee like in Europe , desert was so good too
I tried the Cafe mocha and their pistachio cheesecake. Both were delicious! Not too sweet either. The interior decor is also... very inviting. I wish they had more locations but I will definetly be back. Read more
The place is crammed with furniture; bizarre huge tables; not quite clean; angle with plastic container full of dirty dishes in... view to guests; sweets mostly local, very little authentic Italian. Yet, prices for Portofino. Didn?t feel comfortable, at all.One visit more than enough. Read more
Great CS, nice display, clean ambiance and an excellent variety of baked goodies. Now let's discuss the MAGNIFICIENT MACAROONS.... They are playful colours but they are also delicious. I highly recommend them for all the sweet tooth people out there. I do notshop anywhere else for macaroons. They have been a hit when I have shared them at work. I even recommended them to a colleaguethat is getting married and wanted a sweet treat for their wedding guests. 12 for $25 seems expensive for most however I have noproblem paying for quality and goodness. Food was not fresh ; I ordered 2 chicken avocado and 2 coffee and just gave 1 chicken and other tune panini as they don?t had... chicken but the person who took the order didnot mention about it; bread was like rock to chew .I would say if anybody wants tohave coffee then its okay but do not recommend for sandwiches.
