INCREDIBLE THAI FOOD. Each dish is better than the one before it, Presentation is amazing, the restaurant itself is pretty... small so make sure you get there early. Toronto has no shortage of great Thai food and Isaan Der is no exception. The menu has a great selection. The food itself came... quickly and was well made. The ambiance is lively and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back to try more! Read more

I would have never known about this place if it wasn?t for the traffic. We were stuck in traffic hoping to find a closer place... to eat instead of going to our usual restaurant in Toronto. And what we found on the way was Isaan Der. After reading thereviews we thought we should give it a shot and I?m so glad we did. We got our table pretty quickly. For starters we got freshrolls, which was a combination of different vegetable wrapped in rice paper, along with peanut sauce. It was good, if it hadsome meat this roll would be delicious. (Which I think it might have but I guess we didn?t choose it) This is not a bad optionfor a vegan. For our mains we got chicken fried rice, Khao Sou, Fish Curry Panang and Lamb shank Massaman curry. I don?t knowwhich one was the best. Everything we ordered was made to perfection. Fish curry definitely was something I will order again. Itwas delicious, flavourful and fish was very fresh. The Fried rice with chicken was also very close to what you can try inThailand. You can never go wrong with fried rice. Would definitely recommend getting one. Khao sou was good but it could bemade better. There was nothing particularly wrong with the dish, maybe I was expecting a lot more. I still enjoyed it verymuch. If you guys are in Toronto make sure to visit this special place. Read more

Went for dinner and got the Pad Kee Mao with chicken. The food tasted great. Perfect spice level and flavour. It took me back to... the time I went to Thailand for vacation. Also got the Thai ice tea. Never tried it before and it was surprisingly good. Tastedlike black tea bubble tea. Read more

I took my mom here for dinner because she tried some of the takeout my brother brought for her and loved it. She ordered the... deep fried basa filet with the mango salad and a side of coconut rice. The fish is so so so tender and the panko breading iscrispy and light. My go to at Isaan Der is their Massaman curry with beef and coconut rice, it is delicious! I?ve tried Massamanat different Thai restaurants and I?d have to say my favourite one is here. Can?t forget the service! Everyone is so wonderfuland attentive. I highly recommend this location! This one is the closest to me and I haven?t been to the other locations, butI?m sure they are great! Read more

Lovely Thai restaurant. The decors are on point. It may take a while for the orders to come in but overall the food was good.... Wait times might be longer during peak hours. Read more

Easily the best Thai restaurant we tried so far in Toronto. Authentic tasting dishes with the right amount of... spice! STARTERS The Papaya Salad was so so good. Savory and delicious. We ordered it at the 3 chillis Spicy level. Itdefinitely had a kick! Love it. I don't think we would have enjoyed this at 4 chillis. Chicken Satay was tasty too. A littledifferent from what we would have expected but nonetheless yummy. With 4 generously sized chicken breast skewers, it was quitegood value too. MAINS We ordered the GuayTiaw Gaeng (rice noodles in red curry) and Pad Grapow with Fried Egg (Thai basilchicken). We got both at 4 chillis level (Thai Spicy) and they were good too, with the Pad Grapow being more spicy. With allthat, 2 hot green teas and 1 soft drink, the bill plus taxes and tips came up to $70+. Pretty good value for money. Will beback! Read more
