This is one of the worst restaurants I have been to ! Lentil soup was cold when I complained about how they warmed up in the... microwave while giving me a bad look ! After a few minutes they gave us the hot soup but it was nothing like lentil soup !Looked disgusting! I immediately threw it in the garbage. Since my favorite pide spot is closed permanently I was on a lookout for pide and stumbled upon Istanbul Shawarma. The mix pide... was fresh, delicious and loaded with shawarma but has some space for improvement. I'll be going back. Read more
This was not the place. The hummus was Okay at best. The shawerma pide? it is not good. It was dry , not fresh, definitely more... than a day old. The chicken was Dry and oily (that?s a really bad combo) and it was sour. It had such a bad sour taste. Therestaurant can still improve :/ Read more
Literally the worst poutine I have had in Canada to date. Frozen cheese. Not melted at all because the gravy was lukewarm.... Paired with chicken that was not flavourful, and seemed to be shaved off the spit hours ago. (It was hard and dry) All in allinedible. Even through all the alcohol we drank. The entire group was dissatisfied with their purchases. Also, we didn?t noticeanyone wiping down tables or encouraging COVID bylaws. They are NOT checking vaccine certificates and are allowing large groupsfrom next door (in the nighttime) to enter and hang around. Read more
I went to this restaurant with some friends the other day. I was surprised at how big my Shawarma poutine was, the staff were... friendly, The service was fast and I felt right at home! Been coming here for about 2 years at first food was good. But the owner was around more making sure the workers did there job... properly. Today I got two meals and both were disappointingly horrible. The guy working seemed to be rushing my order and theshawarma tasted really funny. Very bland none of the usual seasonings. I?m not sure if they changed owners but regardless Iwon?t be wasting my money here. Recipe has been tainted no attention to detail and my girls food had a horrible amount of hotsauce. They really need to tend to there food properly. It?s a hazard. Never ate burnt and mushy shawarma before in a plate nowI have. Gross no consistency. Read more
Beef shwarma means overcooked ground beef mixed with breadcrumbs over here. Lahmacun has no meat on it. Just burned out bread... and veggies. Read more
