It was good. Great ambiance, and good food. The table I sat at was damaged where the wood on the table top was chipped. We had... the Wild Tame and Mushroom soup, Pear and Endive Salad. As the main, we had the Ossobuco and the Salmon. The presentation onall the dishes was incredible, and the flavours were good too. Is it a must-try restaurant? Probably not. If you’re in themood to try some Italian inspired dishes, then this place is worth it. Read more

Great experience! Service from host and bartender (we sat at the bar) were excellent. I had the Ricotta Agnolotti. It was very... good. Good portion size. Light fresh pasta. Greens and lemon were a good compliment to cheese and pasta. If anything was lessthan 5 it would be the decor/aesthetic, which was nice, but a refresh would elevate the venue. But I have to say ambiance wasgreat. I loved it. Sorry pic is not great. But it was very good! Read more

I also really enjoyed the Stuffed Pork chop which wasdelicious and beautifully presented. My friend declared the Cucumber Melon soup was the best soup she ever tasted! Read more

The wings, Osso Bucco and Yellow fin tuna tartar was on point. The Boar and beef bolongese was off the chart! I will certainly... go back, especially for the strawberry martini. Read more

I came here for Valentine's Day and our experience with the server was amazing! Upon entering, we were offered coat service and... were quickly escorted to our table. Our server, Karissa, was very attentive to our questions and requests. I love that sheasked the kitchen to separate a dish we requested onto separate plates to save us the mess of dividing it ourselves, howgenerous! All used utensils were replaced with every course and servers always made sure water glasses were full. The food wasvery good as well, I wish there was a 4.5 rating because there was nothing wrong with the food but I do go into restaurantshoping to be blown away by flavours and textures. I really loved the mushroom soup, highly recommend it. The bolognese was alsovery delicious and you can really taste the pork. The tenderloin was alright to me, it was flavourful and easy to cut into butperhaps it was the combination of that and fries which made this $52 dish less worth it. Perhaps everyone has their ownpreference of characteristics for fries but I felt that my fries felt almost on the same level of store bought frozen fries. Iwas surprised to see that the soup and pasta that were a standard price were amazing but a higher priced main wassub-par. Ambiance wise, very upscale and intimate. The place was clean and the decor was tasteful. The bathrooms were a littleodd as the water pressure was low and tissues were on the counter in place of paper towel or napkin. Overall, I do see this agood restaurant to go to and try but im not seeing anything amazing to come back for (except maybe the mushroom soup). Read more

Overall, if the perfect score was five stars, I’d give it three and a half. I was a little disappointed. I thought it would... deserve a better grade. This restaurant may have been mediocre in my opinion, but it scored very high on Google Maps. Iwouldn’t recommend it because there’s nothing to look forward to. The restaurant is located in the 18th Wellington W,Toronto, ON M5L 1G4 building, which offers paid parking. A coat can be hung in the cloakroom at the entrance of therestaurant. You need to make reservations via web site and phone. I made my 19 o’clock Reservation, waited for about fiveminutes (said to be clearing the table, not providing a table on time) , sat down with ice water and asked if I wanted anythingelse. Ice water tastes distinctly of disinfectant. The table and utensils are clean. The lighting in the dining room is justright. It’s not too dark. Background music can be a bit loud and can interfere with conversations with friends. Whenordering, there is no initiative to recommend dishes, nor initiative to recommend wine. The glasses and decanters are notpositioned correctly (they should be on the right hand side of the guest but on the left hand side) , the glasses are notpositioned correctly (they should not be on the opposite side of the guest) , and there is no confirmation of the wine to theguest, without first pouring a little into the glass for the guests to taste. The first course of tuna avocado tartare tuna isnot fresh, the fish smell is very heavy, and when eaten into the mouth also smells fishy. Guacamole doesn’t neutralize thesmell of fish. Salmon for main course: the skin is crispy but not juicy enough. The sauce is salty, the cauliflower isinexplicably sour, and the asparagus is bland. The whole dish doesn’t go well with each other. Butter chicken wings with sidedishes: the wings are cold when served, but the chicken is well seasoned. Perhaps it’s because it’s been sitting there toolong, and the skin isn’t crispy e Read more
