Went for lunch here and was very impressed. The vibe is great, the service is great and the menu has a good variety of choices... to pick from. I tried the pistachio cream gnocchi and it was the best gnocchi I ever tasted in my life! The Risotto my wifeordered is her go to because it also is delicious. Compliments to your chefs. This is a staple restaurant for us and I lookforward to coming back for that gnocchi! The sticky toffee pudding never lets us down here and I recommend if you still haveroom for dessert. We ate here before the Harry Styles concert on August 15. The line was long and we waited about 25 minutes to be seated. They... were only using about 60-70% capacity of the restaurant for some reason even though there were no Covid restrictions. Ourwaitress was nice and the service was good but the food was really average or perhaps a bit below. The steak was cookedperfectly but had zero flavour and the cesar salad just looked and tasted flat. My burger was dripping with grease and againjust lacked any real flavour. I did enjoy their house salad, it was the most flavourful thing we had. All that to say for theprice we paid we'd much rather have eaten at the Keg or somewhere else where the food has life to it. Went here for a late lunch/ early dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. Located just across Union on the corner of Front... and University Ave which explains why there were so many "after work" groups on a Wednesday evening. The indoor space is largewith a wrap-around patio. My friend had steak and shrimps which was alright. I had the truffle mushroom risotto topped withchicken which was also okay. We had mocktails which were alright. The first one I got which has blueberry's basically had notaste. I let our hostess know and it was replaced to my satisfaction and also taken off the check. We also got complimentarydessert (cake topped with toffee caramel and ice cream) for my friend's birthday which was a nice touch but I hardly ate becauseit was too sweet. I had a chance to visit this place for our team event. The place has a good potential to be great but food simply does not... taste. Their interior is really nice and service is not bad. However, I found the food quality lagging behind. They have nicemenu items that are intriguing. However, when you try the meal you are like well I wish I could go back to that place where theyreally know how to make it. I hope you get the idea. If you are just for drinks and location and do not care about food, thisis the place for you. Read more
Went there twice this month. Food was great but the service was so slow on both times, the servers were nice and courteous... though but it took us forever just to have a regular casual dinner. Unfortunately wouldn’t go there again. Read more
Came to Kelly's Landing twice now and it's been a great experience both times. There's a great variety of food on the menu so... you'd never feel bored! For those who like thin cracker-like crust, their pizza fits the bill. They also have a variety ofItalian dishes and a nice selection of burgers. Service was attentive and very friendly, though the music was sometimes tooloud. Would definitely go again! Read more
This review is more like 4.5 stars Came here for dinner on a Saturday night and surprisingly wasn’t super packed. This place... is very spacious and has a variety of seating formats which can cater to different clientele. Very cozy atmosphere, great for adate or drinks with friends. The service was great, granted it wasn’t super busy. We ordered the nachos to share and weweren’t sure if it was because we were starving, but it tasted delicious. Lots of toppings and chips were evenlydistributed. The carbonara was also tasty. Gives you a good portion of chicken unlike some other places where you barely getanything. The garlic toast was burned which I feel could’ve easily been rectified rather than the chef putting it on myplate. Other than that, had a great experience. Would come again. Read more
Such a busy location, I’d recommend making a reservation. I absolutely loved our pepperoni pizza & truffle mushroom risotto so... yummy! However the trio dip needs improvement. Besides that the service was amazing and we would like to thank Sabrina themanager for providing excellent service and checking into make sure everything was good. Thank you!
