I heard such good things about this place but when we ordered $100 worth of food a few weeks ago, we probably ended up throwing... out 70% of it. The tuna was like playing Russian roulette on if you were going to get one with a funky taste. The octopus tastedlike it was from a dirty tank. Some of the salmon texture was like biting styrofoam. The pieces were falling apart and cut veryuneven (that?s more superficial, but still not what you expect from maki). Food was great. Sushi was fresh.. Presentation of the food was simple yet elegant. Soup is very hot, so please be careful.
3 of us went for dinner at Kibo Sushi House last night. The staff very extremely friendly and fast. I love the ambiance in the... restaurant. Brick walls and very decorative. I had the bento box which was tasty, but for 14.99 and without any sushi was alittle steep in my books. My guests had 2 sushi specials that were delicious too. Very reasonable prices for excellent food. I ordered the veggie tempura bento while my sister ordered rolls and both tasted very... fresh with a good amount of vinegar in the rice. We went at lunch and found that the service was fast and we had a very friendlyserver. Good ambiance with light music in the background. Read more
4 out of 5 cause nothing's perfect. Really tasty food, very nice and clean restaurant. The staff were excellent. It's the only... sushi place I have been to on st Clair west so I cannot compare it to anything in the area but I will definitely go back. Themenue is great, lots of variety and even though I normally dislike this all the pictures help. Pictures are of sushi pizza,tempura soft shell crab and the kibo California roll. Read more
I ordered 2 sets of octopus tempura yesterday from this place through skip the dishes and i noticed that my tempura is cooked... with PAPER AS MIX with the flour and also there is more paper(WHOLE PILE) shredded and used as topping on the tempuras andtopped of with some sort of brown sauce. I will be making sure this gets to health department. P.S i know what is Bonito flakeand that was not it. It didn't melt in my mouth. And you could see some burnt sides on the papers. Read more
