La Fenice is a very romantic and lovely little restaurants that serves authentic, homemade Italian food. I went there on Friday... last week and the food was delicious! I started off the with the soup of the day, which was a Minestrone soup that had a varietyof tasty vegetables, and then I got the Bolognese pasta, which was outstanding! The restaurant also has so many selections ofwine, very nice place. A little bit on the expensive side, be prepared to pay $35+! Definitely recommend! Read more

What a great restaurant, in every way. The menu is excellent, offering dishes for everyone. We opted for the Salmon and the New... York Sirloin, and both were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. We started with the grillerd Shrimp and it wasincredible. Beyond the wonderful food, the service here is top notch. Our servers were as good as any diner could hope for. Goodservice is difficult to find these days, but at La Fenice one can be confident that the service is superior. In addition to thedelicious food and first class service, La Fenice has a fantastic ambience, just very warm and enjotable. Can't recommend thisplace enough. Would visit again without hesitation. Visiting from Vancouver with my partner and came across La Fernice while exploring downtown, and it was meant to be - our server... Kelly and the restaurant director Greg were so kind (and both from our hometown of Edmonton!) and the food was some of the bestauthentic Italian we’ve ever had. The grilled shrimp is HIGHLY recommended, the linguine vongole with white wine sauce wasdelicious and generous with the clams and you know the pasta is good when there is so much flavor from simple ingredients withthe linguine aglio e olio. La Fenice offers a superb dining experience. Conveniently located in the heart of Entertainment District. Low-key and elegant.... The staff here are friendly. The food has great taste overall, with extremely juicy, soft meat and aromatic seafood.Presentation 10/10. However, Fettuccine Bolognese was a bit dry although it had a unique flavor and excellent texture.Generally, I would definitely recommend La Fenice to the reader, and I will most likely plan on revisiting :) Read more

Had a great dinner here and would recommend! The team here was very accommodating to our large group and had a great ambiance at... the restaurant. We tried many of the seafood dishes (++fresh) and all were great. In particular, the mixed seafood with risottowas delicious. I tried my friend's gnocchi dish which was amazing as well. Good atmosphere, impeccable service. The food is great with a wide variety of choices yet without compromising on quality. I... want to give a special mention to our waiter (tall Asian guy with a short pony tail) whom I unfortunately did not catch hisname. He is so passionate about his job and does it well. He made sure that we had the best experience possible, he is friendly,hospitable and attentive to our needs and requests, especially when my in-law requested the steak to be cooked well-done (Iwould have told him to order chicken), he made sure that my in-law was satisfied with the shoe leather that he ordered.
