2022 September 4? A cozy and busy French atmosphere on an off beat area. This restaurant is fairly big and has many... tables. Steak tartare $15 Raw beef with egg. A standard. Dore (pickerel) $32 The sauce was outstanding with the flaky fish. The sweet onions is a great pairing. Would recommend if they offer this. This was seasonal. Espadon (swordfish) $30 A steaklike fish. Grilled with a tomato type topping. Not bad. Cuisse de Canard (duck confit) $30 Soft and tender. Sweetness of theduck. Probably one of the better dishes based on how many people order it. If your unsure of what to order, this is a greatstart. Frites (fries) $5 Probably one of the better fries out there. A touch of batter makes this extra crispy. Artichauts(artichokes) $8 Chopped in wedges, tossed in a light coating, extra crispy and flavorful with the sauce. Daube de boeuf(braised short ribs) $27 The sauce was overwhelming, but the beef was nice and tender. The mash potatoes were nice andsmooth. Service was ok. They do seem to have a few flies around. Not sure what's up with that. If you bring a cake, they docharge $3 per person to serve it. Read more

Really enjoyed our late night experience at Le Paradis. Great flavours and ambience. Definitely would return. We had the... artichokes and escargot, which I was hesitant on because of the blue cheese, but actually ended up really liking them. My dadhas the chicken and I had the scallops and both were excellent. Read more

The most authentic french restaurant in Toronto. Has been around for a long time and is run by a French couple. The food is good... and reasonably priced. The service and atmosphere is great. Read more

Outstanding service for a casual dining setting. It is tucked in a corner of the city like a hidden gem. The clams are well... cooked and perfectly seasoned. I love the white wine sauce. It enhances the sweetness of the clams. As for entree, I got theveal liver in a smokey sauce served with fries. I have never had liver prepared this way, and it was wonderful. Do keep in mindthat it's an acquired taste that is not for everyone. Duck leg confit is the highlight of the dinner. It is very tender fromthe long cooking process. It is also very crispy with the searing before serving. The berry sauce is not as sweet as expected, but still flavorful. Other than being slightly too salty, it is one of the best duck dish I've ever had. Overall, I wouldhighly recommend to friends. Can't wait to come back again. Read more

Shrimp and clams appetizers were delicious. I took the beef liver had asked for medium rare and received it well done. They then... apologized and offered me another piece, however this time it was almost completely raw (blue). A part from that food isdelicious and very flavourful. I had a bad experience with my dish but all the other members of my party had great experiences. Read more
