We were looking for a place to eat Chinese food in downtown Toronto, and this restaurant received many positive reviews. We were... pleasantly surprised by how authentic and fresh the food was. The flavour explosion of the dumblings and the crispness of thespring rolls surprised us. We're glad we tried! It's an absolute must-try, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a goodToronto restaurant! Read more

Great experience. Very relaxing atmosphere, had a great conversation over some amazing food. We had the black pepper steak and... the braised short ribs. Also had the salt & pepper chicken the shrimp dumplings. Food was great and so was the service. Will beback for sure. Read more

Another TIFF discovery was the Lee Chen Asian Bistro, right next door to the Alexandra Theatre. Very convenient , good prices,... great food, quick service and not too pricey. Oh and good polite service. Loved it and TIFF or not, will return. Read more

We really enjoyed the food and service at this little gem. We're from LA and our family is originally from China. We were... pleased with how authentic the food is. The dumplings and noodles are hand made and taste very fresh. All the dishes areprofessionally prepared and tasty. It's absolutely a must try and we'll be back for many more visits! Read more

The secret to this place is location and experience. As a local, I go here if I have a business meeting and want actual flavour... in my food (if you want authentic Chinese, go west to Chinatown) as this is close to the Bay St business district and steps fromthe subway. OR if I’m going to a show (this is the theatre district and location of the Film Festival) it’s a reallyspacious and contemporary designed spot which is great for groups, friends and family. The soup dumplings are a great choice, again it’s just an alternative to boring standard options in this very tourist area. It’s a real hidden gem in the area. Read more

Delicious! We were here visiting and I Googled "best Chinese Food nearby" and this one was first. Glad we tried it! Sweet and... sour pork and the noodles were so good. We weren't a huge fan of the spare ribs though. The pan fried pork dumplings wereamazing! Read more

Very spacious restaurant with rustic but sleek décor. Good mood lighting and piano instrumentals. Service is quick, great as I... caught a show afterwards. Pork belly on rice was basic, a bit salty for my taste. Chili oil and soy sauce is on every table. Thecrispy tofu however was hot and tender, cooked to perfection. I realize it is only tofu but it was served in its best form.Bathrooms currently not in service. Basement level. High chairs available. Read more

This place is absolutely horrible! I ordered twice thinking other dishes etc would be more tasty but I was wrong. Their delivery... packaging broke both times I ordered. They put soup in a thin paper bowl with no lid! Just foil over the top. So the soupspilled all over the other dishes. The hot and sour soup is absolutely gross. How do you mess up hot and sour soup? Pan frieddumplings were soggy. Could have been the soup. Bottom line order elsewhere and save your money. Support small businesses thatcare about their food and delivery orders. Not a business that half as* their packaging and food quality. Read more
