The war fries are amazing! Potatje oorlog are one of my favourite Dutch foods, and this place delivers a delicious Indonesian... twist. I have a really sensitive palate, so even though I was assured things were not too spicy to handle, my mouth wassizzling ????. It was good though. Every dish was super delicious. Don’t miss out on the satay or the fried rice. And ofcourse. War fries ????. Just fyi order about 2-3 dishes per person at least if you are coming for dinner :). Read more

Very vibrant and upbeat place to eat fine north Sumatra style food. Friendly staff, fast served food. Unfortunately, 4 stars... because there was no bread, milk, sugar to sooth the spicy taste. We took a desert which made it all good! Be advised, it's aspicy place. Read more

Wouldn't return/recommend. For anyone who has ever had South East Asian food outside of Toronto will be exceptionally... disappointed by this place. High prices and extremely small portions, that the waiter describes as "share plates" is a joke. This is a tapas place. Nothing tasted bad don't get me wrong - but expect over $50+pp to leave remotely full, excludingdrinks. Fried rice doesn't have the Smokey char you might expect. Seasoned well but nothing memorable. Chicken Ayam Panggang, tender. 1.5 chicken thighs $30 after tax tip. Skewers are tasty, recommend 2+ pp. Tacos - Beef Rendang is tasty. Takes AMEX. Read more

Simply amazing! Probably one of the best tapas in Toronto, hands-down. Michael's recommendations were spot-on and he was such a... great server all night. Super friendly and you can tell he loves his job. First, the braised pork belly. It was so tender andsucculent that I'm still drooling at the thought of it. The nasi goreng was also flavorful and surprisingly filling. The skewerswere a tad expensive for the portion size, but they were yummy - get the tiger shrimps! Loved the creative cocktails they havehere. Watching the bartender do his magic from our table was definitely a highlight of the night. Read more

We love the ambience of the Yonge St location! We came here for dinner & the place was dimly lit but playing upbeat music so... over all it was quite the mood. We tried so many amazing dishes & honestly there wasn’t one that we didn’t enjoy. Ourfavorite dishes had to be the mains- duck leg & shrimp curry ???? the grilled white cabbage was also a must try! We love adelicious & good fusion restaurant & Little Sister certainly falls in that category ???? Read more
