A good variety of dishes for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The prices seem affordable. As of May 2022, the lunch buffet (11:30... to 15) is $25 and the dinner buffet is $35. We went for lunch and we were so happy to visit here. Their hospitable staff arearound to help you. They came to the table from time to time and asked if we needed anything. Drinks are not included in thebuffet but the rest are covered. The prices of the drinks are also fair compared to their portion and quality. We had a smallbirthday party and they took a photo of us and printed it and gave it to us as a memory of the day free of charge. I woulddefinitely come back. Some minor issues to improve: - utensils seem a little old. - I expected more Asian dishes but still wehad so many options to try. Read more

Visited Mandarin restaurant at Yonge and Eglinton today. It is the first time I visited this restaurant in this location. It was... a fabulous experience. The spread of food in the buffet was amazing and each dish competed with the next in taste. The Sushi barwas also very interesting and the deserts were too many to do justice. The accompanying coffee with the desert was just thattouch of class. Excellent return for a very small fee. I would return here as often as my waistline can afford it. Food quality is not bad for the price (lunch is $25.99 before tax, +HST = ~$29.99 per person). There's a wide variety of food... choices, staff top up the food regularly so they remain quite fresh, and taste is acceptable. However, due to the extremelybleak ambience, I am unable to rate the restaurant above 3 stars. Hubby would rate it 2-star. Go if you want quantity, decentfood taste, and don't mind grey and bleak Chinese decor (lots of plastic flowers, dim lighting, lack of sunlight, plastictableware with kitschy designs, etc.) If you're affected by doom and gloom, better to give it a miss. It was my first time at this restaurant because I had to find a reason to reward myself first. Their food variety is not very,... very large, but sufficient. I like their deli section because there are so many Chinese dishes. My favourite items are chickenwings, ribs, sashimi, and bbq chicken. Their sushi section doesn't have many options, but the sashimi is good enough for me. Inthe sweets section, I love the caramel baked pudding and tiramisu; I can eat several plates of them!! The servers were amiableand quickly helped to clean up the dishes, so the table was clean and tidy all the time. Overall, we were delighted, and theprice of the buffet was very reasonable.
