I have been going to Merci Mon Ami for lunch for years and my work use them for catering when we have office events/visitors. I... have to say their food has never been disappointing... always using fresh local ingredients and simply delicious! This place is OUTSTANDING!! I?ve had the pleasure of eating at the location, as well as take out and delivery. We even ordered... full Turkey dinners (3 times!) for the holidays and everything was so perfect. I have ordered their Chicken Souvlaki meals forlarge group cottage getaways, and it?s always been a huge hit. I?ve referred them to friends and colleagues, and everyone hasbeen equally impressed. The food quality is unparalleled. Every bite is full of rich flavors?you can tell they do not cutcorners. I?ve never had a meal there that I did not absolutely love. Their Wednesday burger specials are the BEST burgers intown. Highly recommend for your own personal meals or for catering! My wife and I love this place. We live in the neighbourhood and especially in these crazy times, like to support local... businesses that offer incredible value and, in the case of a restaurant, great food at affordable prices. The menu is diverseand accessible and the food is flavourful and abundant. We often have enough for left overs the next day and it?s just asdelicious. You can also purchase bottled dressings and sauces so you can bring their extraordinary flavours to your own recipes.I honestly can?t recommend this place enough and especially if you live in the west end, you must find this hidden gem andfrequent it often. Service was very good. Totally accomodated my no dairy requirement. Seating at communal tables very limited. Cold roast beef... that came straight out of a package on a hard banquette with fries or salad was a disappointment. Special was hamburger withfries or salad. Had to pass on the hamburger as there was cheese inside the burger mix. Read more
These folks did a great job for us tonight at our private booking to hold our annual company holiday party in their dining room.... It's clear they don't often provide table service as their usual operational mode involves ordering and picking up food at theircounter, for lunch.
