Absolutely the best Greek restaurant in town. We went all out and ordered the Greek salad, Greek fries and pork gyros. Delicious... and the portion sizes were huge. The gyros were just like the ones served in Greece. It?s a must go to if you like Greek food. This place is quite popular so the line and wait times could be long, even near closing time. Read more

Visited last week for lunch with friends. Nice vibes & decors. What a lovely place for authentic Greek food on Danforth. Food... served warm and tasted good. We loved the beef/steak souvlaki and the roasted potatoes. Soft and tender and full of flavor. Read more

One of the top, busiest Greek restaurants on The Danforth. Although busy, service is pretty attentive and quick. I was very... satisfied with the experience, but docked one star for an over cooked octopus. I may chalk this up to chaotic popularity of therestaurant, and overall I?d still recommend this place to get your Greek fix. Read more

Mezes is definitely one of the best and most popular Greek restaurants in town. We have been there in several occasions and the... food is always good at the least. You do get random inconsistencies, like for example, the last time the octopus was slightlyovercooked; but, for the most part, everything was delicious. Usually, it has a very lively atmosphere but, it does get quitebusy sometimes and it can become a little tight and hectic inside. Read more

What a lovely place for authentic Greek food. We went here for lunch and ordered the whole fish which was sea bream for the day.... Also ordered the humus bread for starter. The bread was nice and soft although a tad bit oily. The humus was delicious. Thefish was perfectly done. We loved the barbecue flavour and it was so soft inside. However, we were hoping for a little largerfish as it felt too small for the two of us. I reckon it would be perfect for one person. The interior is light andtraditionally decorated and it really enhances the experience. Food is pricey but good. Read more

This place is SO BUSY, but the waiters and waitress never stop tending to your needs! It was amazing ! The Greek salad was... great, the stuffed pastries were so good too. The chicken souvlaki dinner was yummy. Finally, I'd definitely recommend thebaklava as a dessert. I'd definitely check this place out in the summertime !!! Read more

Nice atmosphere, authentic service, food is always top of the line and relatively well priced. Usually busy but never too long... of a wait to be seated, don't feel rushed, and food comes fairly quick. If you like Greek cuisine this is a must visit. spot onthe Danforth, and with patio. Read more

It is a lovely Greek restaurant with very European/Greek vibe and decor! I heard their fried calamari is a must, so we ordered... it as an appetizer. It is honestly my favorite calamari in Toronto thus far, and they serve it in a huge portion! We also gotthe dip plater as an appetizer and it is good to order if you are a group of people! As for the main, I ordered the chickensouvlaki dinner. The potatoes are really good! Again, huge portions that I was not able to finish it but I did take it home andhave it for lunch the next day, which is awesome! I?ll definitely come back again !! Read more
