This one star is specifically for the food only. The So called famous chole bhature, one of the most hyped indian food in... Toronto. Chole tasted like typical indian street food (sombazaar types) full of old smlelly oil. Bhature looked good and werestill better. Also ordered a non veg thali which only had one non veg item. Its dishes were very average taste just like someindian highway dhaba food. Anyone new to canada might like this type of food since they will be new here and still would becarrying their indian taste buds, however one who is used too of good quality canadian food will never like their food speciallychole bhature. With a eye grabbing red decor outside, this restaurant sure does stand out in the Indian bazaar from the outside. However, in my... opinion the charm stops there. With a chaotic small inside, with people filled to the brim (most probably came there from the reputation it has), it does get a while to get around with the ticket system. The menu is pretty standard. We got the famouschana batura and chaat papri. The quantity is pretty good for the price, but it tastes extremely average. You would definitelyexpect something authentic from the way the restaurant is set up but you can find way better chana batura in any other southasian restaurant in GTA. Read more

Overall the Thali was great to taste. The dishes and the vegetables were great to taste. The Chole had its unique taste with... the Bhatura one of the hot selling item at the store. Things like Cleanliness could be improved and the management can be muchbetter organized. Read more

We went to little India today to stroll the streets and explore some ?good? Indian food . ?Good?? We were mistaken badly. We... ended up in this restaurant which was crammed to its brim. Never knew beforehand that it was a false positive. On seeing thetempting menu moderately priced, we ordered a bhel poori, papri chat and a Chana Bhatura. With token based self service and anoff-putting ambience, we managed to find a small seat in the corner, accompanied by some flies. We were consciously ignoring theenvironment, just for the food. The Bhel puri which arrived first, was sogging with oil. Oil on a bhel poori, why!?!?!Regardless of the oil, it was not Bhel puri by any means. It was a tasteless, rancid mixture topped with sev. Even in my worstdreams I would never eat such spoiled chaat. Then came the papri chat which had absolutely no salt, nor taste. Last butdefinitely the worst of the three, the smelly Chana Bhatura outbidding the stale menu. Even if you were on a mission to make theworld?s worst Chana Bhatura, you still wouldn?t be able to create sucha a disaster as this one we had. I am running short ofwords to describe the abhorrent food. I hope I am unsick tomorrow. Have me in your prayers. God save this restaurant. -10/10. Read more

Have a craving for Indian food? Street food? Look no further because this place has lots of selections and they are all... delicious. It is located in Gerard street which has other Indian resturants as well, but I liked the food here better. Keep inmind, though, that this is not a fine dining place and it is self service. But the food and the spices satiate that. Definitelyrecommend to try it out! Read more

Great value for money and extremely fast service. 5/5 for these dishes: masala dosa, chaat papri, chicken seekh kabab. Some of... my friends got chole bhature which I tasted but wasn?t that great, same for chicken tikka masala (3/5). I tried the chickenbiryani and although it?s not biryani, but it?s a very tasty chicken pulao. The sweet offerings are also very nice and fresh.Don?t expect a fine dining ambiance but it?s worth for the food variety and value. Read more
