I have lived in the area for over a year but had never actually been here. I saw a sign out for a $8 butter chicken lunch. I... paid at the counter, was served at my table, asked how I was doing, and was even offered the wifi password without me evenlifting a finger. The food was phenomenal. A massive portion of rice with chicken and vegetables was stupidly cheap. Everythingwas cooked properly, and I had my food within minutes. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value. NaanSpot has wonthemselves a new regular customer. Read more

Really surprised with some 5 star rating. Food taste is below average, naans and roti were those that come in package at the... nofrils. Oil was overflowing, not a from a person who knows how to cook, feel sad but please those who gave 5 stars it's eitheryou haven't had indian food or it's just misleading.. Price is on the higher side not reasonable at all. Read more

I ordered a butter chicken - big mistake - there was absolutely no flavour. It comes in a "curry" that is totally bland, it is... just like watered-down soup? But with no flavour. No salt or any spices of any sort. This did not taste like Indian food, I'mnot sure what it did taste like. There's a really good spot on Bloor St near Christie Pitts called Banjara. Would recommendgoing there instead. Read more

I was passing by and I thought I would try Naan spot. Ironically they forgot to give me the naan, so anyway the food is very... good. The taste is as expected but it took long time to get ready. The price is not reasonable. I paid $25 for rice, chicken andpaneer cheese. It may sound okay but I have tried many places and I would get more food for the same price. The menu wasn’tvery clear so something the manager can work on also they can clean up a little behind the cash area it would make it lookbetter. Overall the place is okay and the food is good. Good luck. Read more

Order lunch butter chicken and tandoori Naan and this is what you get for your money. I'm sorry I don't mean to give you bad... rating and it was my first time ever i tried this place but food was not what it was expected. Firstly, chicken looks stale andfood does not have any flavor at all. Secondly, my tandoori Naan is completely burnt, how you expect customer to enjoy bitterburnt Naan. I'm sorry again to give this review but when you $19.20 for the food, food should also be delicious. Thank you foryour kind service. Read more

I went to Naan Spot for a work day lunch ordering on Ritual. The food was ready quickly and the prices weren’t bad at all for... indian food. They had three vegetarian curry options, one which changed every day as a special. I loved the chana and the paneercurries, but was not as impressed with the daily special. They did not indicate if the chana was vegan, though I think it was.The naan was also great and the naan servings were more generous than other Indian restaurants for the same price. Therestaurant was not explicitly accessible, but there were no stairs. Read more

I watched this place open and I finally decided to go there today. They have affordable curry lunch specials! I got the 2... curries (butter chicken and Channa masala) with a naan for 10.99 before tax. The naan was giant and fresh, so good! The currieswere also some of the best that I've had. I got the medium spicy but it was barely spicy. It is conveniently located close toUniversity of Toronto campus, so if you're a student, this is worth a try! Read more
