Fantastic coffee and the ability to add mushrooms is nice, but the food portions are outrageous. $5 lemon square that is, I kid... you not, the size of a toonie. A latte ends up being $9. Avocado toast for $10.50 on the smallest square of bread I've everseen. I'll be avoiding their food and sticking to the coffee as a rare treat from now on. Read more

Nice coffee shop, with high ceiling, nicely decorated, clean and spacious. They have creative vegan pastry bites that are quite... tasty. Cappuccino with oatmilk tasted different than elsewhere and it wasn't my fav. If you like me prefer a more quiet coffeeshop, then note that the music volume may not be suitable for you here. Such a cute café! The staff is so friendly and gave helpful recommendations. I had an acai bowl and tried their housemade... nutmilk, haven't found anything comparable in Toronto! So good, definitely a new go-to place. Read more

Let?s start with the good - the smoothies are quality with beneficial ingredients and taste good but also super expensive -... think $16.50 with tax for a medium sized smoothie??? Secondly, the staff today especially one of the girls was super rude. Iasked for extra ice and got a super sarcastic answer back like ?well it?s a smoothie *long pause* so adding extra ice won?t makethe drink colder? it was very condescending and implied that somehow I should know like girl I asked you a question and for a$17 dollar smoothie I think I can ask one question. Anyway super turned off and it will def be my last time going there - sad bcI?ve always eyed this place and wanted to support another neighborhood spot but I won?t pay $17 for a smoothie and feeldisrespected doing so. Tried their Supermatcha coffee and Mushroom Toast. Absolutely ravishing food and highly recommended. The mushroom toast is very... filling and finger-licking good I liked the concept of honey trickle with chili flakes. Staff is very friendly and efficient. When I visited the air conditioning seemed to be under repair but the place was very clean and neat. Read more

This is my first time trying Nut Bar, service was good as staff was helpful offering suggestions. Unfortunately portion is very... small and overpriced (see photo, the container is very small), I ordered overnight oatmeal and it was $8 bucks - yikes. I getit that Nut Bar prob pays its staff well and procures high quality food, sadly the value is missing as well as the flavor is notso special and I won?t be returning. Read more

This place has so many interesting variations on standard vegan breakfast fare, most with more delicious AND healthier options!... And their own nutmilk is to die for! A definite place to check out if ur on Queen East, and prefer vegetarian and organicchoices! Read more
