My friend and I gave this spot a try because of the ratings and photos. But we highly disagree with the ratings this Not Okay... diner has on Google. First time here and there was long strand of hair in my orange juice Second my breakfast plate had a tomatothat was not cut properly ended up with the top part of it that's not ideally to eat Thirdly I saw our server pick up the garagebin walked back behind bar to put it away and then I would've thought she would wash her hands but didn't. She continued puttingher hands on surfaces and the coffee maker. My friend had small hair on her plate as well as mines. We will definitely notcoming back here Kitchen didn't look clean either ???? My friend and I ate here for the first time today. Delicious food, great prices, and exceptionally friendly service in a... relaxed, welcoming environment. We couldn't have asked for more. And the portions are generous. Read more

I've been visiting Toronto since 2016 and found this on Google. Each time I'm in the city I stop by for breakfast. The food was... nice and the server (didn't get her name - on October 9) was really sweet and funny. Food didn't take long to come out and thepancakes and omelet were delicious! Coffee was very fresh and not too weak. We will continue coming back and recommending it toour friends who pass by the city for some time. Read more

Not Okay diner. I am not sure if they run with more staff than today, but service was very slow, was not personable and the food... was sub-par. The coffee was good, but the creamer curdled in it and was off putting. The eggs were okay- but we?re obviouslycooked on a flat top that needs a scrub. The hasbrown was quite similar to McDoanlds and was not made in-house. The toast wasburnt on the edges? His omelette was unevenly cooked and had thick areas that were gooey and thin parts that were over cooked. The eggs weren?t blended either. Apparently the cheese was gooey and perfect. There are plenty of other options for breakfast inthe city and I?d advise you go to any of them before this less-than-okay diner. Read more

Breakfast was?. Okay. I ordered blueberry buttermilk pancakes (3), a side of sausage links (4), and coffee with cream for... pickup. My total was $22.36. Cons: my bottom pancake was burnt ????; had to go back in to request the butter and syrup for thepancakes; sausages were dripping in grease; no cream pots for coffee Pros: Jennifer?s service was friendly and responsive, sheeven stepped out in the rain to hold open the door for me (thank you, Jennifer ????); real old school diner feel, coffee tastedfresh and good. All in all it was okay! Read more

What a sweet diner. Love the minute we walk in we are greeted with a friendly hello and wanna coffee? I drink decaf and they... immediately put in a pot. It?s a tiny spot so seating is limited. The old fashioned diner is alive and well. The menu is huge sodecision making isn?t easy. I love that they make their own hollandaise and bearnaise for the eggs. Omelettes are classic dinerand good. Next up will be lunch and a burger. Read more
