A nice place to have a bit of a fancy lunch. This place is only open for lunch, and is inside the Ontario Court of Appeal. The... building itself is beautiful, and the room where the restaurant is decorated with walls of old law books. They have aconsistent menu and another that changes. Their chef menu (which is one of the menus that change) gets you an appetizer, mainand dessert for about $23 + tax and tip. They had a bread service, but I find that the bread has usually been sitting forawhile and it's as soft as I'd like. Service is always friendly, and very concious of time constraints if you only have an houror less for lunch. Read more

It is one of those hidden places in Toronto that you don’t want other to know and keep it to yourself, and known to the... lawyers and judges for years. Located in a beautiful old library with great food and friendly staff, great place to enjoy theholidays. It is our annual tradition to go for lunch in December... Read more

Interesting menu options that are both tasty and not expensive. Nice atmosphere. Make a reservation.

Great prix fixe menu in a beautiful library space in a heritage building. . Prices are reasonable and the dishes often use local... seasonal ingredients. service is excellent and a good choice for a business or casual lunch. The prix fixe menu at Osgoode Hallis a fantastic value: great food in appropriate portions at an attractive price. The venue is completely different than anythingelse in Toronto and a nice surprise for guests. Highly recommend. Read more

Food was very excellent. I had a three course meal. Salad was standard, the main was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly,... I'm not sure what was in the potatoes but they were amazing and the vegetables were carrots and something else still very tasty. For dessert I had carrot cake which was very good. They are not large portions however for a lunch they are perfect. Prices werereasonable. I liked the atmosphere the only thing I would remind people is that it is in a law/court building so you do have topass through metal detectors. Really though that added to the experience for me. A little gem hidden in downtown Toronto. Who knew there was a fantastic restaurant at Osgoode Hall. Exquisite food. Very good... wine list, with knowledgeable staff making great suggestions. The beef is wonderful! Their butter tarts are the best, with flakypastry. The Prix Fixe is a super bargain. The restaurant is in a baronial-style banquet hall with wonderful stained glasswindows. OK so they had run out of one of the entrees of the prix fixe menu we wanted half an hour after opening. OK so our soupcame after the entree. OK so one of the deserts had run out when went to order. OK so our waiter got amnesia & brought ourcoffee & tea well after we had finished our desert. At least we didn't have to go through their "airport-style" security to exitthe building. When I entered the building, the body scanner beeped. I told the guy it was probably my belt buckle. No matter.???? An officious guard immediately snapped to attention & fluttered about as I got "the full wand body search." ???? Read more

Came here for a work lunch. Great service and the food was delicious. I ordered the Goossens farm rainbow trout which was great.... This place is tucked away in the law society of Upper Canada building and very much open to the public. Read more
