Pretty underwhelming experience overall. Visited here for lunch with some colleagues and we all ordered from the lunch menu... special. I add the calamari for appetizer, which was absolutely delicious and crunchy, my best meal of the entire lunch. Iordered the “Fun Guy” pizza and was pretty disappointed with it. The pizza is very “bready” in the wrong places. Lots ofdough wasted on the crust edge and the bottom of the pizza was too thin and became soggy very quickly. The flavour of the pizzawas amazing, but the crust really was a turn off. I had the lemon cheesecake, it was ok. Nothing to write about. I would liketo give this restaurant a chance again, but considering their prices, it’s probably for the best I don’t go again. Read more
The egg yolk ravioli is probably the most memorable dish I've had. Creamy, cheesy, tons of umami..without being sickening. Pizza... was excellent as was the steak. Dessert was great but the carrot cake is really for one, if you're greedy like me Read more
We had a lovely experience at Piano Piano. This was our second time there and we enjoyed everything about it. From the food to... the service and the ambience. Special Shout out to Paige, our server. She was very warm, energetic and fantastic in herrecommendations. We literally picked from her reccos and things were spot on. My only constructive feedback would be that Inoticed that during our dining experience there were 5 people who handled our table (Host, Order taker, person from pass todeliver the order, clearance person and one person to replenish our cutlery between courses). I feel that kind of is too much.Ensuring a lesser number of faces on the table just ensures that there is a more consistent experience. Read more
This might just be my favourite restaurant in Toronto! It feels like a great place to celebrate a special occasion, but despite... its elevated appearance, this is the most delicious, comforting Italian fare. The whipped ricotta is amazing, the calamari wasgreat, and the egg yolk ravioli is my heaven (it is perfection). I’ll keep coming back so long as it’s on the menu! Excellent spot for Italian meals. The pasta and pizza were amazing, especially the Rigatoni and Meatballs. Surprisingly, the... Caesar Salad was also much better than I expected. Slight upscale prices, but very much worth it. A strong recommend. Read more
Excellent food, cocktails, service, and ambiance! Heard great things about Piano Piano and it surpassed expectations!... Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Fantastic quality and a lot of care in the preparation and presentation of theirdishes. Cocktails had some interesting combinations and all 3 I tried were great and worth the price. Service was exceptional.Perfect place for a date, celebratory dinner, or just any occasion really. I find most restaurant of this calibur have atrade-off when I comes to ambiance, food, or value, but Piano Piano definitely hit every on note! Read more
Visited Piano Piano with a few friends one Thursday evening - we had reservations in advance so we were seated right away. Staff... was really friendly, service was solid. Atmosphere was very welcoming, aesthetics were really nice. Ordered a fun guy pizza(vegetarian) to split which was really delicious as well as ordering the egg yolk ravioli which was really good and had a reallynice presentation on the plate - wish there was a 3rd ravioli though (only comes with 2). Came here for Summerlicious 2022. All three courses tasted amazing, were beautifully presented, and above all, had filling... portions (especially the appetizer!) compared with other fine dining establishments. The interior had a beautiful design andthere is indeed a piano hidden in the basement! All-in-all great value and well worth the visit. Read more
