I visited the Colombian restaurant in the food court. The food was fresh, high quality and the portions were large. I ordered... seafood rice (mussels, squid, octopus, scallops, shrimp). The seafood was cooked perfectly (none of it was chewy), and wasfresh. My side salad was crisp. The cashier was very nice and patient with me. The market is rustic and needs repairs. Thefloors were dirty and there were cracks in the walls. The bathroom was dirty as well. Read more

This place has good vendors, my favorite the juice stand , the Salvadorian stand and the Peruvian, but reality is that it needs... some major repairs to star with the entrance my God it is very bad fill with potholes and inside needs a better outlook alltogether I do understand this is their business but it has to be a lot better and cleaner , personally I have been there 4 timesand really the prices are crazy when you can eat somewhere else for less money and much cleaner a soup for almost 20 bucks???? Ireally don't mind paying for food but it needs to recheck they're prices and cleanliness. Read more

I just discovered this pace and it was absolutely phenomenal has almost all Latin countries being represented in this plaza with... each countries best dishes! I had Mexican and it was perfect! The prices can be a little up there for some but the portions andquality are well worth it! I will certainly be coming back with more friends and family to show them! Will be trying theEcuadorian restaurant next! If you love Latin food this is the place to go! Has something for everyone! Read more

For a non-Latino, probably the most intriguing value proposition of Plaza Latina is its vaunted food court, a slightly chaotic,... ramshackle, kind of dirty but also kind of great mishmash of different Latin American cuisines at the back of thebuilding. Prices are inexplicably not listed for the most part but assume that each thing will set you back at least $15-25.It's not a cheap food court that's for sure, so don't go in expecting cheap eats. Luckily, most restaurants have pictures, sothat makes things easier there. Options range from Peruvian (the standards: lomo saltado, various ceviches) to Colombian(bandeja paisa, sancocho etc) to multiple Mexican places (including birria! But that's 5 for $25 vs 3 for $15 forpollo/carnitas/bistec and some others, no you can't order individual you have to get it in sets, and also no pescado orcochinita pibil or nopales as far as I could tell). There's also what looks to be an Argentinian sandwich/bakery stand alonestore (alfajores!) and a Cuban, El Salvadorian, Ecuadorian (so much pechuga de pollo) and a general refreshments stand in thefood court as well, plus a Jamaican and Mexican taco place outside of the food court facing the street entrance. Communicationis a bit of a challenge as most of the stall staff don't speak English so you'll have to break out your Google translate or getto practising your Duolingo like me. They'll give you a little table number stand thing which you take to whatever table youdecide to sit at and they'll bring your food to you. Hygiene and general maintenance wise, yes I can see some of the feedbackby others definitely having merit. Having said that, both cleaning staff at the food court seemed to do a very thorough job withthe surfaces that they did clean, they just might not necessarily notice the random salsa that's fallen on your chair, andthere's certainly nothing they can do about the half finished construction throughout the plaza or the cracked concrete/asphaltoutside.
