Really enjoyed the coffee and croissant, but the person serving us behind the cash was coughing into their hand several times...... the same hand to place the lid on the coffee and handle our food. This is unsanitary during the current pandemic and otherwise.Please do better in that respect. I hope to come back another time and want to see this cafe in my community thrive, but wouldlike to be reassured that staff are not showing up to work with symptoms - masking would also be wise to protect your staff andpatrons. The food at rapido is amazing. Every day there's a new selection of hot foods and side salads and you can never go wrong. I've... yet to have anything but an excellent lunch here! I was pleasantly surprised on my last visit to see that Rapido now sells ready made food to warm up at home and it absolutely... delicious and truly felt like a nourishing home cooked meal.. but better. Their wine selection is outstanding. I got a gorgeousbottle of sparkling wine and am excited to drink the rosé. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and cheerful. The coffee is great! The staff are friendly. The food is delicious - I've had chicken and mashed potatoes and cheesy curry... chicken pasta with salad. Both were excellent. I'm wasn't a huge fan of the panini I tried. It's small, good for coffee a aloneor with one other person. It's a pretty tight space. They are fine with me bringing my own take out thermos. We were greeted by a lovely young lady with an Irish accent I believe and she was very helpful and let us sample the soups... before committing to one.. so we ordered a meatball sandwich that was to die for.. the soup was great too!.. the ambience wasvery casual and quaint.. super selection for a small place and everything looked delicious..
