Great experience at Ration. Been there a few times. Twice on the rooftop and recently in the indoor dining area. Cocktails are... the best in town at reasonable prices along with their amazing food with tapas style dishes. Love the beef that they have tooffer. Missed out on their anniversary dinner serving King Cole duck dishes but managed to come by after. Whether it's for acasual night out or date night, it's a great place. Be sure to make reservations. The food and cocktails here were very good. Our favorite dish was the salmon mi cuit. It was something interesting that isn't... too common at other restaurants. Was a great way to start the meal. The service was kind of lacking though. The servers didn'tknow what each dish was and ended up bringing out the chef to explain everything. Often the server would start explaining butthen the chef would correct. Read more
Absolutely amazing dining experience at Ration. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that they... honestly love what they do, and care for their guests. The chef uses local ingredients and lots of fermentation. We chose thetasting menu with pairings. For me, this is the best way to try a restaurant for the first time. Let the chef's creativity flow!What's better than that? WINE PAIRINGS!! The dishes and wines were such beautiful complements to one another. In an area ofdowntown that filled with pretty terrible fast food and heartless hospitality, Ration Beverly is a beacon of hope that genuinehospitality is not dead. Fell in love with the to-go cocktails and street bbq during the pandemic, helped keep Queen West lively! Checked them out this... weekend for brunch and it was fantastic - we both had the Big Breakfast and they weren’t lying, its huge! Everything wasperfect, the bacon and potatoes specifically brought us back to childhood breakfasts. Best bacon I’ve had in a long time.Excellent mimosas too, we had the Strawberry & Rose (to die for!), and the Ginger & Lemon. Aesthetic was super cute too, lovedthe antique hutch that the staff were using, awesome functional decor! We definitely need to come back and check out theirrooftop terrace next. Read more
Amazing meal and experience! Super creative, local, sustainable food. Probably the best meal we’ve had in our many culinary... experiences in the city since we arrived 6 months ago. They also create unique cocktails, again also with many fresh and localingredients. Try them out while they’re still new and up-and-coming. I expect them to be very busy and get pricier in thefuture. Def recommend! Me and my gf went and had 6 course dinner with the wine pairing. Our server and staff were great and the food was... delicious. The wine pair made by our server was perfect with the dish. You get a diff wine for each course. It was an experienceand the concept of using food in its entirety with well knowledge staff, I will come back again. Read more
I visited for brunch with a few friends. The ambiance was nice. QR code scanned menu. There was a large menu selection of... traditional brunch favorites to sandwiches, crossiants and cocktails. It is definitely a splurge. I had the fried chickensandwich without sides- $19. It was decent but wasn't blown away, especially with so many good fried chicken in the city. Read more
Absolutely amazing - my friend and I tried the tasting menu and several non alcoholic cocktails, and everything was delicious,... creative, and unique. They have extraordinarily friendly staff, who's passion for good, sustainably sourced food shines throughin everything that they do.
