Came here for after-work drinks with colleagues. The decor was nice and the drinks were good and fairly priced (considering the... location). My only qualm was the servers weren’t as attentive and there were a couple times where it seemed like they hadforgotten about things we’d ordered/asked for (ex: drinks that were ordered that never came, the bill), but they were nice andapologetic so it was no big deal. We had our company event there, they served one of the best drinks in the city. Not the drinks but some nice faces who serves us... as well. The food was delicious, loved the mushroom soup and you have to try the cheese cake.. The main course was “OK”hence 4/5 stars. But in all it was an amazing experience Read more
Drinks, and food were okay. The night I went was super busy so it was extremely loud, and slower service. My fiancée got the... cheese burger with sweet potato fries. The burger burger could have done with some sauce. The buffalo wings were pretty good, sowas the steak and shrimps. The parmesean fries could have been tossed with more of the topping. Nice spot to gather with friends. During the week there’s lots of groups and a covered patio section. The only problem is that... it closes pretty early during the week. A very classic menu with healthy options. My favourite are the Cobb salad and theirtruffle Parmesan fries. Tip: Go on Tuesdays for there are 50% off wine bottles, it’s a great deal! Read more
Stepped into this upscale bar after reading a few positive reviews and weren’t disappointed. Server Shaun was very personable... and competently handled a food allergy in our group ensuring a stress free experience. Starting with a build-your-own G&T madewith Dillons No 7 gin and fresh raspberries and cardamom seeds for a fresh and spicy kick. Chicken wings were great as was theSeared Salmon Romesco. Cooked to perfection. Wine list was excellent including a good number of Canadian wines. Tried theForeign Affair Conspiracy 2017 Riesling/ Sauvignon Blanc and it was outstanding. Only stopped by for some drinks and was overall satisfied with the experience. The drinks were solid, leaning above average... with good balance. Decided to order some apps to nibble on the bother the wings and calamari were excellent. The venue is largeand beautiful. Service was great, no complaints. Read more
Ambience is nice but place gets really full and noisy as the tables are so close together. Went on a Monday night and it was... pretty packed. Definitely call ahead to make a reservation. Regardless the service was good and we didn’t have to wait long tobe attended to. Cocktails are average (quite watery)…nothing mind blowing. Ordered the calamari and chicken wings forstarters and both were hot and delicious. For mains, I had the seafood pasta which was also a hit… well spiced based onpersonal request. Dessert was delicious… had the butter tart which comes in two with a side scoop of vanilla ice cream (yummyto the last bite). Overall the food is good and I will definitely visit again to try other options on the menu. Read more
