Wow. Even for takeout, this place was amazing - hands down the best takeout I’ve had in the last year. I don’t know what... sauce that was with the steak and fries but it was fantastic. That would be the one dish I recommend everyone try. Everythingelse was great too though, amazing flavours, and even being delivered in a container, the fries were still crispy. Definitelyordering again to try the mac! Read more

I stumbled across Le Phenix as I was searching for good restaurants on a Thursday night with an outdoor patio and I'm so glad I... found this place! Everything from the food, to the staff, to the health & safety standards are of the highest standard andimplemented in a respectful and mindful manner for both patrons and staff. I made a reservation online to secure a table andshowed up just on time to get seated. When you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff wearing masks who happily bring you tothe patio in the back, but first asking that you sanitize your hands first with their hand sanitizers at the front. When youreach the patio, you are greeted with a cute outdoor patio that manages to be both spacious and cozy at the same time. Thepicnic style tables have tall acrylic dividers installed in the middle to maintain a safe distance between patrons. We were satdown and given paper plates and wooden utensils wrapped in a napkin. This is a rather particular detail, but I loved that theyuse special paper plates that weren't your typical Dixie plates. They have menus taped to the wall behind the tables so it'seasier for each table to see what to order without touching a physical menu in their hands. A fellow patron suggested we get theTuna Crudo (as it is a fave amongst customers) but we decided to get the Shrimp & Dip instead as an appetizer. Little did weknow, both these apps were sold out as they are both popular options! We finally picked Steak Tartare for our app. For mains, weordered a Steak Frites and Roast Lamb Loin. We also ordered cocktails but the names slip my mind; though the one with tequilatasted a lot better than the one with dark rum. Steak Tartare - Absolutely loved it! I've had a fair share of tartares and thismay be by far one of my faves. Even my friend who never had tartare before found himself enjoying it. Steak Frites - The steakis cooked medium rare and was quite tender, once you spread the butter over the meat, it was so m Read more

The back patio is very chill and I enjoyed the vibe along with the food and service. They are very big on keeping everything... sanitary during these times. My only issue was that they never mentioned that another party was waiting for our table until theparty arrived. It would have been nice if we got advanced notice as we had to quickly finish our drinks. Read more

A small restaurant that opens until very late. For someone who dines at a fairly late hour, I am glad this place was open since... they serve delicious food. The onion soup was strong in flavours, I especially liked the stringy cheese on top. For the oysters,it was superb with the cocktail sauce. The beef tartare's flavours was on point, even after finishing that big of a plate Iwasn't even tired of it yet. On the other hand, the brussel sprout was a bit too bitter for me. Their 16oz tenderloin steaksounds very attractive byt the price of 85$ sounds a bit too scary for me. I would love to try a lot more of their dishes, liketheir duck. The atmosphere is very enjoyable, the only thing is just the music that is a bit too loud for me. The service wasfriendly and welcoming, even though it was very late, the waiters still served us with a smile and a fiendly attitude. Read more
