Visited another Salus location and I have to say this location is beautiful, very clean and super friendly. Their salads are... always so delicious and presented beautifully, this time I got the Vegan Kale Caesar with a latte. It's a MUST try!!! Also,Customer service was absolutely amazing and they are so friendly! Highly recommended! Read more

Wildly overpriced for what they sell. I purchased a quinoa bowl which was very bland. The amount of toppings included was... shamefully small given the price point. I added falafel to my bowl which was very dry and tasteless. dressing was somehow blandas well. Waste of money. Edit: I got sick later in the day from this Read more

This place is ridiculous! We ordered "grilled" chicken, mushrooms, and "grilled" shrimp in one salad; and tofu, crunchy chick... peas, and edamame in another. The salads came mixed up with a little of each in both orders. There was not grilled anything. Just chicken with an implied grilling strip on it, and the shrimp was cocktail shrimp that you would defrost and have with thered sauce. And for the pleasure of this debacle we paid $34.95 to have it delivered to our house. Talk about first worldproblems, right? But a problem nevertheless, because for the expense you can't even get what you asked for. Read more

I would consider myself a bit of a "foodie" when it comes to Toronto's quick-service, health-centric restaurants. I've tried... them all. My biggest issue with these restaurants in the past was that you could never seem to hit on all three of thefollowing: - Quality ingredients - Good portion sizes - Good value More often than not I would find that I was choosing two(and sometimes just one) of the above. This all changed when I found Salus. The proteins are very high quality, the veggies areincredibly fresh and the portion sizes ensure that I'm never hunting around for a protein bar 30 minutes after lunch. Best ofall, the price is extremely reasonable. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is kept clean and the line moves fast. Ifirst went to Salus months ago and have waited to try it on numerous occasions before writing a review. Too often with theserestaurants I will be let down after an initial visit that was promising. Each time I have been to Salus, the food has beenamazing and consistent. The owner has done a great job and I would encourage him to look into more locations (maybe furthersouth downtown and closer to my work LOL!) so that I can go more often. I have attached a picture of the custom box that Iusually order. Some other favourites of mine are the Romaine Calm salad and the chia pudding (which makes for a greatsnack). Greg Read more

Salus is Toronto's one and only fresh salad bars. Nothing like this place... Their salad options are the freshest by far that... I've come across. Having the option to make a custom salad, wrap or box is genius, since I've found this place, I come backevery day. Friendly staff who are actually passionate about food makes the experience way more inviting then most. Highlyrecommend you visit Salus. Read more

Salus, as in the Roman goddess of safety, salvation and welfare, is owned and operated by Adam who shows his love of healthy... food & living by the fresh and tasteful dishes he prepares in front of you counter side now a mere 3 weeks into his openingday. Limited seating with 6 stools, half facing Carlton and half a beautiful decorative wall. Proteins range from chicken, steak and salmon with various veggies and base such as brown rice. I ordered the regular size box with Quinoa, chicken andshrimp. It came fully loaded with my choice of wasabi dressing and was ample for a meal. Fair price of $11.97 before tax. Theshrimps certainly did not disappoint. A variety of chilled drinks such as bottled Canteen coffee, Evian water, etc and housemade veggie or fruit shakes are available. Easy street level access for mobility impaired. UPDATE: A return visit for thesteak. Individually cooked to your liking (medium rare for me) with blue cheese. It'll knock your socks off. If you wearsocks that is. The beef is marinated for 24 hours btw. Read more
