Great place to get food and entertain yourself for multiple hours. We thought we'd only be here for around an hour and ended up... staying for 3. The place has an entire wall full of different board games. We didn't order much food, but what we got was verygood and pretty filling for the price. The server was very nice and even brought over 3 board games when we asked forrecommendations. We killed 2 hours with those. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a casualget-together. Read more
A fun little restaurant. They have a variety of board games and their food was decent with large portions. Overall it seemed... like a great place to visit over the weekend just to have some fun. I will definitely go again. They also serve alcoholicbeverages and other drinks that taste pretty good. Read more
We visited on a weekday. I loved how there was a lot of space in the location, and we were not right beside another group. I... have visited some games lounges where they ... played ... loud music? For some reason? Making it difficult to hear servers,staff, friends, fellow game players, etc. and thus place orders and play the games. The location did not do this, which wasgreat. Being able to speak without yelling was very enjoyable. We enjoyed the food (halloumi is a delicious but strangelysqueaky cheese) and drinks (Italian Soda is a sugar lover's dream). The game selection was also great, though I wish there wasan indication of how long reading the instructions would take. I prefer games where you can jump right in, with minimal readingfirst. I suppose the green stickers mean "easy", but I would also like if there was a code for how long set up of each gamewould take. We ended up playing Codenames, which was fun, but took a bit to set up. It would have been nice if wipes wereprovided at the table, since we ordered finger food, and would not want to make a mess of the games. Read more
This place is great to hangout with a group of friends and spend some time playing board games while also having some food and... beverages. They have quite a good selection of games. However, some of the games were in rough condition with instruction cardsmissing or having other damages. There is a minimum spend of $15 per person, which includes the $8 fee for the board game. Ifyou end up ordering food and drink while playing the board games, they will charge you $8 + price for whatever you ordered offthe menu, as long as the total is above $15. If your total spend is below $15, then you ll still pay $15. The quality of foodand drinks here is good, but they will charge you a premium for it. I ordered a latte and fries while playing board games andended up paying $20 in total before tax. So I would consider this place to be on the expensive side, but hey, it's downtownToronto. Is it worth it? Maybe, if you don't mind paying the premium. Our experience here was great overall. Read more
Snakes & Lattes is a go to for my friends and I! We go there often and it is always a fun place to play games and have... snacks/drinks/food. They also have vegan food. It is a bit expensive for my student wallet but I enjoy going there from time totime. Read more
Visited for office get together and had amazing experience.They offer a large variety of board games to play.Definitely a great... place to spend quality time with your friends. For vegetarians I highly recommend their earth burger ot was so delicious. Theplace was pretty crowded for Thursday night and service was slow. Read more
Amazing place for a fun date night. My wife and I came here on a Tuesday night as our work got done early. To our surprise the... place was almost full and vibing hard. Groups of people, couples, all engrossed in playing board games. We ended up spending 3hours playing the game Sequence. They have plenty of games and in various genres. They have game experts who would teach you howto play a game as well as clarify rules. We ordered Espresso martinis 4/5, Pretzel bites 4/5, Chips and dip 3/5 and Affogatos4/5. Loved the random yelling, cries of victory and people cheering their teams - great vibe. 5/5 will visit again. Read more
