My boyfriend and I stopped in for 2 burgers and fries. 2 combos are alittle expensive there but always so delicious. This time... unfortunately that was not the case. We both got bacon on our burgers and literally they put 1 tiny pieces of bacon on theburgers. When your paying 40$ for 2 burgers and fries they should at least have more then 1 piece of bacon on it. Won't be backto this location also the staff working looked like walking zombies no expression. When we asked for more bacon they lookedconfused and upset they gave us 1 more piece of bacon so I just gave it to my boyfriend. What a rip off ! Read more
Stopped by this evening as we were craving South St. burgers. Ordered a True North w/ sweet potato fries + drink combo and a... Fried Chicken burger. We came into the restaurant at 7:30pm, placed our order and the cashier had some trouble applying a promoto the order that took a few additional extra min. Our receipt was time stamped at 7:39pm and we were asked if dining in ortakeout. We opted to dine-in but was told they would be closing in 10 min which was 15 min earlier then stated on signage of 8pm. That?s fine we would take our order to go. We were rushed through the burgers assembly process, they were short of onionring topping, started removing the utensils from the condiments, filled the sweet potato fries cup half full, drink was 3/4filled with ice and rushed us out the door by 7:50pm. While the fried chicken burger was missing a couple of toppings, itdidn?t taste like the usual quality and the service throughout left less than to be desired. We?re regular South St. Burgerpatrons and would highly recommend the Downtown, Leaside and Don Mills locations instead for consistent great burgers, qualityservice and professionalism. Read more
Chicken was flat and dry, Burgers were extremely Dry, Sweet potato fries were 0vercooked like Dry twigs, and lastly the fries... were cold and hard. All for close to 70$ Won?t be back! Read more
I could not give negative stars... Where to start... I got someone-else's order. Nothing was what i ordered also my burgers were... cold as stone. Both buns were burned but was cleaned by scraping the burned top. The beef patty tasted not very fresh... I washungry and tired and did not go back to return the burgers but I should have done that and give them a piece of my mind. Afterthe first bite both burgers went in the garbage bin. I think this location is ruining the reputation of the South St. Burger :( Read more
