My wife and I have been staying at Ronald Mcdonald house (we live in Ottawa) for over a month as our baby girl had heart... surgery. We stopped in the night of her surgery after what was a very long and stressful day. We were greeted and served by Patthe owner. He's an exceptional person, and you can tell he cares about his customers. We've come back multiple times because ofthe service and if we lived in Toronto we would easily become regulars. Food is probably good, it usually is. Only one person working, the bartender. This is a problem if you arrive hungry (and I... get it, my fault for not eating before I went out to eat). I get staffing is an issue, but I doubt the bartender is the ownerof this location. In my business, if I am lacking staff I step in to help. Unfortunately, the owner/management can't bebothered to help put and just expect their patrons to budget an extra hour or two for the wait for service. TLDR: No staffworking, very long wait. I tried the all you can eat today! The chicken wings are so tasty. And the fries are great. The server named Elisa was so nice... to us and always have a smile on her face that melt our heart. Will come again next time! Read more
Ordered takeout online and was disappointed when my bottled drink was missing from my 1 ½ lb wing combo. Was also disappointed... with the portion sizes of the sides especially after upgrading to sweet potato fries. unfortunately Couldn't check my own bagbecause I was ordering from hospital. I was there couple days ago, the food was okay. Service was good. It?s my first time visit here, very close to where I live.... The fries is crunchy and yummy, but we didn?t know that wings come with fries so we ordered crispy fish taco with fries???????? Too much food for 2 ppl, I wish our server would have told us something. Read more
let me start off by saying our server was lovely! nothing to do with the people there, just purely reviewing the ayce boneless... wings. definitely not worth, good luck trying to finish the 15 pieces let alone getting one or any refill on top of that. thewings are extremely salty, perhaps a tactic to stop you from getting more wings and for you to get more drinks instead. iremember when the ayce used to be at least somewhat worth it, not anymore. This location was great, smaller location but the bar was right there and they had great tvs everywhere. Little patio out front... but I sat at the wood. I had an appetizer which was good and the dip was excellent. Bartender was attentive and chatted witheveryone at the bar and some people out at tables. Read more
