Very disappointed with guest services at this restaurant. I called to book an event room and a nice lady put me in touch with... the group booking department (of course I had been shopping around other five star restaurants thankfully) and the dismissiveperson in charge of that department messaged me to say that there was no availability on my requested date. The message was sosnooty and cold. Here's a pointer: if you want to be deemed a friendly establishment maybe apologise for not having thatavailability on that day and offer other suggested dates that are available? Salesforce 101. Good riddance Stratus! Read more

Great food and even better service. We only wanted drinks prior to the Jay's game to celebrate my sister's birthday & ended up... with a heap of delicious appetizers, recommended by the staff & manager. The views over Toronto are a bonus. A visit is Highlyrecommended. Read more

Stratus is a casual upscale restaurant located on the 36th floor of a TD tower in the financial district. The décor is modern... and provides views of the financial core and of the waterfront. Tip: ask for the restaurant washrooms instead of being directedto the Toronto Athletic Club washrooms (if you would like). This was my second time dining at Stratus – this time I was therefor an event. Nicole, our server, took excellent care of us. She was professional, attentive, courteous, and hard working. Shedelivered her top-notch service with such ease. For example, while there was a set menu for our table, she was able to work withthe kitchen to make requested changes. In addition, she was attuned to the diner’s preferences, for example, she offeredoptions to those who did not drink alcohol (but did not explicitly say so). And we were never rushed – she stayed until almostmidnight until our party decided to depart before the elevators lock. Thank you, Nicole! Onto the food: KALE & BABY RED ROMAINECAESAR SALAD ($16 on the website menu) roasted garlic dressing, parmesan crisp, panisse croutons The use of baby kale was aunique twist on Caesar salad. The stems on the baby kale made it slightly cumbersome to eat at times but that’s just me beinga whiner (I do not mind eating the whole plant – more nutrition!). Overall, good salad that was not over dressed. CRISPSKINNED BC CHINOOK SALMON ($35 on the website menu) roasted golden and crimson beets, sauteed baby bok choy, lemon dill Thesalmon was cooked perfectly. The skin was crisp and the flesh left moist and unadulterated. The beets and bok choy were greataccompaniments (never have enough vegetables)! The sauce tasted like butter lemon dill, it was citrusy and buttery. The saucewas drizzled around the salmon so one can decide how much of it to use. Excellent salmon dish. Read more

Went for a tasting. The wine was fine but the service was lacking. A little hospitality goes a long way. Even just eye contact... or acknowledgement would have prevented me from leaving the retail store before making my purchase. Read more

Atmosphere, service, views, food quality and taste were excellent. However, I found the portion size for main dishes a bit small... and not enough to fill your stomach unless you order an appetizer. Was a bit surprised that there wasn’t much available fordessert. Coffee was good as well. Read more

Amazing service, great food (though the salmon dish was just a touch too oily for my taste) - TRY THE SWEET POTATO FRIES! Best... we've ever tasted. The view is also just incredible. Also, our server, Nicole, was so incredibly sweet, professional andfriendly! Read more

Delicious food and good service at this restaurant atop the tower with an excellent view. I got the chicken which came with... assorted vegetables and sauce to pair with the crispy tender meat. Well fitting for a high end place for corporate occasionsdowntown. Read more

The view is fantastic, that's definitely the high point of the experience. The menu is pretty short and simple, very "clean"... food given this is associated with the gym club across the hall (the place actually share the gym's washroom). Decent list ofbeer and wine, nothing extensive. The wine prices are about 50% higher than similar places, and food prices are about the sameas others in the financial district. Service is pretty good, but we were there for a pretty quite early evening. The food aredecent but nothing memorable. Wife had the tuna nicoise salad which she is not impressed with. My mom had the shrimp, which wasbetter. I had the strip loin, it's decent sized with plenty of seasoning, tasty but does not compare to Keg or other steakhouse's offering. It is certainly worth a visit for the view, but probably not a second time. Read more
