What a horrible experience today trying to order a sub from Subway. Had to repeat myself more than once to tell her what I... wanted. She asked me if I want it toasted with cheese I said yes and when I got my sub it has none of them on it. They did notput my receipt in the bag so when I got home and found out there was no cheese on my sub how much to exchange it. I will stillgo and try anyways. But most likely not. I will not be going to this subway for a long time. I need my sub toasted with cheeseafter all. Sign is up by special is not on. Person who work there told me that the sign is old. It's an amazing spot to grab your favourite subway dish. As a vegetarian, I have multiple options to choose with healthy meals... including broccoli ???? soup. Also, there's free parking nearby. The street parking aren't allowed. Read more
Fairly decent service. However, there's a serious broader issue regarding the policies that Subway uses to organize its staffing... arrangements: during the evening hours, there's only 1 person working behind the counter. This is undeniably dangerous as itleaves employees in vulnerable positions, especially if they're working in unsafe neighborhoods. Anyone can walk in and engagein boisterous behavior or, worse still, engage in theft or robbery. Subway ought to ensure that at least 2 employees arein-store per shift, as the presence of two persons is far likelier to prevent harassment/theft/robberies. If that's notpossible, then hire a security firm to provide an on-site visible security presence at the front of the store. While I know thisis outside Subway's existing business model, it's imperative that they stop cutting costs at the expense of the safety andwell-being of their employees. Please, do the right thing: protect and ensure the safety of the people you hire. Read more
Usually love this place, but the employee last time we were there did a disappointing job. We ordered two subs using the... app. On one there were missed ingredients, and short on other ingredients. On the other, the meat was all piled at one end. In both the bread fell apart while we tried to eat them. Usually this outlet is good (particularly one guy who is the bestsub-maker around). But I might hesitate to order for pick-up without being able to see who is serving and what they aredoing. EDIT after reply from Owner: Thanks for your reply and caring enough to make it right. For the most part good quality is there. Staffing is lacking. One person working at lunch time. Waiting a long time only to... find out you are out of gluten free or the gluten free buns have mild on them. We eat here frequently enough and it is hit ormiss whether there are GF buns available but there is always one person working. Read more
I go to this Subway outlet near my home when I have a craving for a soup. Today I ordered Cream of Broccoli soup. They made it... fresh, and it tasted so good. I like it because it has pieces of rotini pasta, carrots and broccoli. For under $3/- for 255 mL( a cup ) you get hot soup with 4 g of protein and 150 calories of energy, which is tasty and satisfying. Salt can be reducedfrom 790 mg - a bit too salty for my taste. ????
