Horrible. I was not given what I ordered. Ordered a Kamikze roll but there was no tempura, green onion or spicey sauce. What... they made as a result was not even on their menu!! Worse they did not let me know they did not have the ingredients (I hopethat 's the reason ..I would have changed my order) Also, I asked twice for tempura sauce for the side shrimp tempura Iordered, it was not included even though they said it was. Finally, all this took 1/2 hour to wait for in spite of only oneother customer. Read more

The service is friendly, the place is clean and welcoming. I called to pick up an order and the lady on the phone was very... polite. I got everything that I ordered. The food is excellent. Taste and freshness are great. Even for take out, they do agreat job of making the presentation look nice. I recommend this place. Read more

got a poke bowl with salmon and tuna with the ritual 50% deal - still $10. It's okay - some pieces of fish had the fishy... aftertaste. Definitely overpriced if I didn't have a discount. They were nice tho, gave me a soup too. Read more

I must say that I am a very selective sushi-eater as I absolutely love quality sushi. I grew up in California and was fortunate... to try fresh seafood daily. Ever since I moved to Toronto, it has been a struggle to find authentic, ready-to-eat sushi. Especially close to my work. It was by chance that I stumbled across the Sushi Shop in a food court section. I was adamant atfirst, but I am always one to try something new. Lo and behold, I took my first bite and was impressed. Ever since mydiscovery of this, I go to the Sushi Shop at least once a week. The staff are extremely friendly as are the owners! Myfavourites are the Black Mamba (with brown rice) and the Poke Volcano Salad. *drool* You have to check this place out! It'sperfect for quick sushi cravings and bona fide fresh. Read more

One of the best restaurants I've been to. Very consistent in providing great service even in peak rush hours. Reading some of... the comments here.. Some people are so needy and aggressive. People need to relax and understand that 1: this isn't the KEG andyou can't just try things and change them at no cost! Hanni specially with your tone and how much you have to say about this"middle eastern" guy. It's racist and you clearly don't have a clue what it's like to run a business. 2: food prices everywherehave soar and it shouldn't be a surprise when it comes to sushi (check the cost of salmon for eg). 3: wait times are sometimemore than normal because people tend to order custom orders that take a while to prepare. If you're in a rush then just use thegrab and go section. If you go to any descent burrito place for example, you sometimes have to wait 20min to get your order. Read more

Hi I usually don't do this with restaurants I visit, but this location really made me have the worst of experience and I needed... to let their head office and future customers know that I am very unsatisfied customer and I will not be returning orrecommending this store to anyone. First off their customer satisfaction policy is not clear. I order sushi that I didn't notlike paid in full spent $20 or more there. I told the gentleman working there that I did not want to eat the remaining sushileft (i only tried one piece of sushi) decided it tasted horrible and asked if he can replace them with the other ones Iactually liked. He was very disrespectful and unkind when he refused me to replace the meal I didn't not enjoy. Instead ofoffering me deal or discount on changing my order he walked away and didn't not acknowledge me. I felt very disrespected and unappreciated. I just wanted the company to know that this guy was a middle eastern background and didn't not show me respect orunderstanding. He is running a restaurant business if customers don't Like their food they need to be prepared to replacewithout no extra fee to the customers. He is very ungrateful man and I know this store won't last long if he keeps up hisdisrespect towards customers and women in general. He was very intimidating and rude. These rolls were pretty good. Would've liked it more if the outer layer was seaweed instead of rice paper though. I'd go back to... try the other items. Read more
