Possibly the most delicious scones in the city! A great hidden gem for afternoon tea, with unique and delicious tea options,... creative finger foods, and very cozy chairs! The service was friendly and willing to accommodate my friend who couldn't eatbread/wheat (dietary restrictions). Also incredibly good value for money - affordable! Read more

I ordered a short notice catering for a work function. I wanted something unique and it was; however, in my opinion it was... overpriced finger sandwiches. If you want to try this place I think you definitely need to go in person and experience the teaservice or else it’s quite expensive for funeral sandwiches but the mushroom hot pastries were incredible. The classic afternoon tea menu ($38) begins with a hot pot of tea selected from an extensive two-page listing. I stick with a... traditional black tea that allows me to include a splash of oat milk into it without drowning out the tea flavours. If you’rewaiting on a guest, look through their tea descriptions. Someone poetic crafted them; such the description of how black Ceylonspring valley tea leaves are created through “warm sunshine following tropical monsoons with cold nights”. As the tea toweris prepared, a two-bite leek quiche and simple caprese salad tie us over. If you’re the type of person who skips breakfast andlunch before heading to afternoon tea, you’ll appreciate these pre-tea light bites. However, if you’re like me and neverskip a meal, I’d forgo the microwave re-heated quiche to save room for Tbuds amazing scones. They have a lovely crispy crustthat breaks easily to reveal a soft fluffy centre and aren’t overly sweet so you can slather it with mascarpone cream and jam.Too bad they are so stingy with the condiments, providing enough for two scones at most. In fact, if anything we need more ofthe mascarpone cream as it’s lighter and less buttery than traditional clotted cream. Their sandwiches each incorporates anherb and a creamy element. We loved them all: the egg salad is enhanced with a bit of chives, the cucumber sandwich is slicedpaper thin and uses an herbed cream cheese, the curried chicken includes a refreshing chutney, and even the sun-dried tomato andcheddar combination surprisingly works. With six sandwiches to a person, it makes for a filling meal. The tower is capped offwith fresh soft macarons that have a vibrant fruity flavour and luscious cream. The other petit fours – a fruit tart andultra-decadent salted chocolate square – are less impressive but nonetheless decent. Read more

Tea was amazing. Very impressed with the strength of the taste without it feeling over-steeped / bitter. 1 star less as food was... average - good but not great. I'd return for just the tea! Read more

Spoiled by Bridgerton and Downton Abbey, Some of us curious Desi's wanted to try the experience of a Hi-tea and I totally get it... now, this place served the best experience we could have. Regardless, the Indian in me will never understand the puzzle ofpouring cold milk on to a cup of black tea. But thankfully they had Masala tea so that was a Plus. Read more

We took over the entire restaurant to host a Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee High tea on June 2nd. The tables looked great with... white linen tablecloths and maroon cloth napkins. The service was quick, and perfect. The food was really good. Best macaroon lhave ever had. Many of our guests had never been there before, and vowed to come back with family and friends. That is thehighest praise for a restaurant. I did not mention that the price is so reasonable for high tea. We will be returning. Read more

Very cute little place for a small party for high tea. The atmosphere was nice/relaxing. The tea menu is very extensive and the... high tea menu also has lots of variety and best of all, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! My friends and I enjoyed the tasteof the food. + it’s halal!! The service was good but the only reason I left one star off is because of the wait time for thefood. We came for 3:30 appointment and I think we finally got our food around 5. I think the reason is because there didn’tseem to be a lot of staff and there was one other party than us at the restaurant (we were only a group of 9 girls) Read more
