The experience was unlike anything I’ve had. Growing up on all you can eat sushi, having proper, authentic high quality sushi... blew my tastebuds. The overall experience of the chef making it in front of us was cool too, they were very friendly! Lots ofunique flavours, would definitely come again! Would I say it’s filling? Surprisingly yeah, and I eat a lot. But it’s notlike double cheeseburger filling, it’s the kind of quiet and happy satisfaction you get after eating the right portion. Read more

Don’t let the location fool you. This gem of a stand up omikase stand is worth multiple visits. It is located in what is... essentially a food court and the concept is simply this: you pay a fix price and you stand at the counter and -a chef makes yousushi. If you are fan of drenching your rolls in low grade high sodium soy sauce then this might not be the place for you. Thisis pure sushi - fish on high quality rice top with delicate and sublime flavor elements. Delicious, delicious amd fresh, highquality fish made by skilled chef. Read more

Amazing omakase, fish is fresh and the technique is professional but i recommend avoiding being the last service/table before... they close because the dinner will feel really rushed and you cannot enjoy your meal as much. The first time we tried Tachi, ithink we got the head chef, who was engaging with customers and explained each sushi with a lot of detail. Today, we had twoyounger gentlemen serve us; we were the last reservation at 8:15pm (they close at 8:30pm) and it simply felt like they wanted toclose shop quickly by serving the sushi quickly. I still enjoyed my dinner but i will learn from this experience. Reservationis highly recommended and the host was very accommodating when we called to say we were running late Read more

???? $70/pp after tax ???? tip: come here between 3-5:30 PM to get 15% off your bill! Great cute standing omakase. I think this... is a great way to get introduced to omakase as it is quick. The standing omakase is only 30 minutes long but you do get quitefull. In case you don't get full, there are other restaurants in the chefs hall that you can partake in. Read more

Tiny standing omakase in a beautiful food court. Phenomenal sushi, the chefs were friendly and made a lot of jokes, the fish was... so fresh, and they made each piece super fast. The 30 mins sounds intimidating but it's only about 12(?) pieces so you have morethan enough time. They also give you ginger as a palette cleanser between pieces. If I worked in the area, I would come here allthe time. We also ordered extra pieces of sushi with uni and it was so worth the extra fee. Highly recommend checking it out. Read more

Tiny little omakase restaurant inside a food court of a building. FOOD: fresh and quality sushi (a little way too much wasabi... to my taste). The restaurant is very small so you can have the chef standing right in front of you making your sushi. The wholemeal is limited to 30 minutes, which I feel quite rushed. There are 12 pieces in total, decent amount, I got quite full afterthis. INSIDE: tiny place, there are enough space for only less than 10 people. I didn't like how they make people standing butthe dining table is quite high, and the standing space is very tight (I think bigger people can barely fit in thearea). SERVICE: the chef was very friendly, outgoing and not trying to make the environment serious/ formal at all. He was veryunderstanding when I told him the sushi has too much wasabi to me. Read more

Best omakase in Toronto, great value for the price. Loved the fish quality. Unique standing experience felt intimate with only... one other couple eating beside us. Had a nice chat with the chef who is from Japan. Quick 30 minute dinner, but didn't feelrushed at all. Read more

A fantastic Omakase experience! Our chef was very open to talk to and made a great presentation with each new sushi piece. $60 a... person which is quite fair in my opinion for this quality of food, beyond delicious. Highly recommend! Read more
