Fairly new having replaced Westown at the same location. Clean interior with comfy booths. Dinner for 4 arrived quickly on a... Thursday night. Polite delivery person. Overall clean tasting food bordering on bland but well worth ordering again. Yes theportions to cost are respectful. We particularly liked the ribs. Included hot sauce on the side for the crispy, moist chickenwings adds the required zing. Read more
Tender trap is a STAPLE in the area. Nothing bad on the menu. I've probably tried everything now. They're also super friendly... and give off a warm family vibe. Eating a dish from tender trap is like being transported back to a time when Chinese food meantsomething different and despite how much the neighborhood has changed around them, they've stayed true to who they are and whatthey do well: Providing affordable food and outstanding value to the families of Cabbagetown, st James town and beyond. Had the chilly chicken and general Tao. Tasteless and flat tastes for both soaked in oil. Food was so oilly that till it... arrived it was a moshy chicken. No crispiness left. Maybe its good for dine in but I would avoid for delivery or anything thatstays in package for more than 10 mins. Also leaving bones in our General Tao chicken its really not pleasant. Every-time wehad a bite we were afraid we were gonna break our teeth. You either serve it boneless or not. Read more
