We wanted somewhere cosy and intimate to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, so I suggested we go here. The staff were warm... and friendly, their service stellar, the food and cocktails superb and the cosy vibe just right. Even the prices were veryreasonable. We left full and happy and honestly couldn't fault it in any way. I think we just found our new date night hangout! Read more
The Beech Tree provides delicious and artfully prepared dinners. We enjoyed eating outside with friends. My main dish was an... attractive and mouthwatering duck's breast. My bride and I savored a bespoke ice cream sandwich for dessert. Time and money wellspent. Read more
You cannot possibly go wrong with The Beech Tree. This has been our local haunt/second home since moving here in 2019, and... between the seasonal menu items (the sponge toffee cake), the regular favourites and the daily fish, it's all thoughtfullydesigned and well made. The drinks and rotating tap are great, and the service is always excellent. I can't say enough goodthings. You will never regret a visit! Read more
1 app, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, dessert, tax and tip was 115. Had a really great dining experience at the Beech tree last... night. We had warm olives with flatbread, pork shoulder, grilled tuna special and the sticky toffee pudding. All dishes werewell presented and delicious. Service was great from the owner and 1 waitress on duty. Drinks were well mixed, tasty andplenty boozy. I thought the value was very high for the quality of food and drink. The only blight was the place smelledstrongly of olives inside and the two tables outside felt a little desolate. Some lanterns would make a huge difference. Read more
