The steak and ale pie was great, the beer was great, the service was good, but the music... Why is it so loud? I could bearly... hear the person across the table from me and left with with my throat feeling raw from having to basically yell to beheard. The worst part was going to the washroom where the volume was so loud my and my partner's ears began to ring. I wouldusually only knock off 1 star for this, but I've never experienced a bar this loud and I don't know how anyone could find itacceptable. If we wanted to stand next to a speaker at a night club, we would have gone elsewhere. Read more
Was there over the holiday weekend. Server became very rude when asking for food menu around midnight. Told us they?re kitchen... was shut down and when questioned about serving food with liquor in Ontario we had our drinks taken from us and were told toleave. Read more
My secret place ?????? Love this Pub and love fish and chips ???? (Burger is not bad) The staffs was so friendly!
This is a good pub. I gave it 4 stars because they serve fries with their ?fish and chips? at a British marketed pub. The... Shepherds pie was also a small portion, pretty thin. Would not recommend for a healthy eating male. My dad totally loved theirfish and fries however and the tartar sauce was his fave. My mom had French onion soup which she enjoyed and a beet salad whichshe never looked up from once while eating. I would go again, but would not choose the shepherds pie again. Read more
With one worker to serve the whole bar after St Patricks parade ending nearby and a big crowd, the experience was bad. A rough... end for a good Sunday. The worker was nice and staying optimistic. She ended up forgetting our food order so we told her tocancel an order of fries and gravy after waiting 40 minutes just to make sure we weren't charged for the food. When I needed arefill I had to go to the bar because she never came back to our table. I usually like Firkin pubs but won't be going back tothis one. Read more
