Had the scotch egg, fish and chips and fish pie. Scotch egg was inedible. Food was mediocre. Service wasn’t good. K think... they were too busy for the staff they had on. Wasn’t offered a refill on beverage. For price, not worth it. Much better pubsaround. They left the plastic top on the ketchup bottle which got ketchup on it so I had to clean it before using. Serverdescribed seafood pie as just salmon - it clearly had a white fish as well. Ambiance is 10/10, though. Read more

Hidden gem alert! What a lovely experience, authentic London pub vibes! The beef pearl onions pie is a must get (reminded me of... a hearty stew). Also ask for specials (not listed in menu). We were able to get a turkey dinner (dined in Thanksgiving day, bothwere very tasty. Read more

Stopped in for a couple drinks while we waited for our table at a nearby restaurant. Greeter and bartender were very nice. We... sat upstairs and played some games from their bookshelf. Enjoyed the Primm cocktail and some beer. We saw a few others receivemeals, and the food looked good also. Read more

We went for Brunch over the long weekend. The food is delicious - we took the avocado/halloumi/egg toast and the corned beef... hash/sunny egg. The service is good too, even though a bit slow. To be fair the place was packed for a soccer game. We willdefinitely be coming back next time we are in Toronto. I would recommend making a reservation as they seem to get very busy forbrunch. Great little spot for British bite. As a Brit myself, I do seek out a good pub wherever I go, and this place did hit the spot. A... decent sized menu with a lot of the English faves. I got the coronation chicken toastie, which was not exactly what I wasexpecting, but was still a really tasty rendition of the dish. Read more

Went with a few friends on a Saturday night. When we first arrived at around 7pm, it was quite busy and then started to slow... down at around 9pm ish. We had cod and chips, and the beef short rib pie. Both of them are amazing!! The fries the dip thesalad, everything was really good! Our friends had chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger, both said would go back to thisrestaurant again. Didn’t haven’t a chance to try their dessert, definitely would try to save some space for dessert nexttime we are there. Also saw on their website they have pies to go, want to try all of them now after having the beef short ribpie. Really good! Service was amazing too, unfortunately didn’t get our server’s name. She was working Saturday night forindoor table near the bar. Highly recommend this restaurant. Also would love to try their brunch, sounds really good Read more

Great classic English pub! The hosts and servers are so lovely and kind. The brunch is delish and portions are generous. Got the... classic breakfast, avocado toast with halloumi and pancakes with maple butter - would recommend them all!! The pancakes wereespecially such a treat. I appreciate their vegetarian and meat options. I love the decor with lots of portraits. If you can geta table in the front room, that’s the best! Read more
