Amazing place to go! Once you go through the front doors, you're in another world..a Polynesian one. Decor is awesome. Lots of... bamboo with a very slow pace zen kind of feel. Ordered chicken tenders and coconut shrimp and both very really good! Drinkchoices are endless and so interesting. Found the lighting a bit dark so it was hard to read the menu a bit but I'd still goback. Our waitress Quanah was really nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. Amazing place for relive tropical vibes. Drinks 5/5, food 5/5. Drinks are punchy with barrels next to them to indicate the... strength and it's quite accurate. We tried Doctor funk - 4/5, Mai Tai - 5/5 and a great punch and Take a flight tonight - 5/5and will definitely take you for a flight. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp 5/5, popcorn cauliflower 5/5 and 3 piece chickentender meal 4/5. Overall great vibes, amazing drinks and delicious food. Will visit again. Read more

Attempt to book in advance. Anytime we tried to visit last minute it was always filled and I understand why! Such a great vibe... in here. The drinks & bowls are all tasty. Good mixology skills here. Snacks were surprisingly flavourful. Service was veryfriendly and helpful in regards to my allergy. They made sure I found something egg free to eat without cross contamination.Though the service was friendly, possibly understaffed. Service is slow. If management had more helping hands I assume thiswouldn?t be an issue. Naturally our table would have ordered more drinks meaning more money for the restaurant. The 1st of the two and older brother of Port Light, this bar is the more tropical themed, whereas port light is nautical. This... bar was definitely the more lively of the two, but the theming was just as cool. The drinks were all fantastic and the menuswere similar but a few good differences. Highly recommend the "Take a Flight Tonight" and the rum barrel. The communal bowlwas also great, lots of fanfare and bubbles. While fun, the individual drinks are made with more care. On my first trip to Canada, I wanted to do the most Canadian things possible. So naturally, I went to The Shameful Tiki, a... Polynesian themed hangout in downtown Toronto. Sadly the kitchen was already closed when we got there, but the bar was pumpinglike nobody's business. The Polynesian decor provided a bright and lively haven away from the cold Canadian wind. The verytropical vibes make you forget that you were just wearing a down jacket less than two minutes ago. We ordered a couple roundsfrom their extensive drink menu. There's a cocktail combination for most alcohol, and they even have a couple wine based andnon-alcoholic options as well. The service was incredible and the jukebox kept belting out surfer and punk rock tunes, keepingthe seaside vibes alive. We were there on a Wednesday evening.. absolutely loved the drinks and ambience. My friend and I had around 5drinks(together)... and they said they couldn?t serve us any more of Yowza drinks as we already had two of them so we decided to head to anotherplace. From the outside it doesn't look like much but as soon as you open the door, you enter a different atmosphere, definitely a tiki... bar!!! Great ambient! Great decor! Awesome drinks! With amazing garnish and some drinks comes with interactive modes. Perfectplace for a date. The only thing is the small menu but it's perfect for the bar! I had a great time at the Shameful Tiki room. The bartender was super nice and friendly, he suggested us the most popular drinks... as it was our first time there and didn?t know what to order. We ordered this cocktail for two which was pretty refreshing andgood tasting. The fries were good too.
