The fish was fresh and tasty. They had run out of rice and first said they would make it with brown rice but then just did the... regular rice but less without asking, which was weird, but I'm not complaining. However, the portions were tiny considering theprice, and I expected higher quality and quantity for these prices. Read more

One of our favourite go-to casual places in downtown. Seating is nicely distanced from other diners. Fresh ingredients, great... presentation. The only downside if it's your first time is that the menu is quite extensive and it can be a bit overwhelming.Everything that we have had has been pleasing and we have our go-tos, to name a few: miso soup, agadashi tofu/ takoyaki/ tempura(their fried foods are on point!), salmon sashimi, various maki rolls (dragon roll, spider roll, green field roll) Read more

Sashimis were really fresh. Plates are a good size so value of this place is good. As a starter you have complimentary salad and... miso soup which is very tasty ????????. Besides sashimis we ordered nigiri and regular rolls. All very fresh and well presented. There are no pics in the menu so it might be hard if you don?t know the names of everything. Services inside the restaurant arein need of cleaning and this to me is a must to round up the experience to a 4. Occasion: casual lunch with family or friends Read more

I haven?t had sushi in a very long time and we decided to come here for our last meal out before the lockdown happened... again. one thing i really liked about this restaurant was that the QR code on the table opened the menu which allowed you toplace your order directly. Made things quite efficient. I ordered the green salad, miso soup, salmon lovers and the cucumberwrapped roll. I shouldn?t have ordered the cucumber rolls (they were delicious but it was too much food for me.) My friend hadthe sushi and rocky mountain rolls - really enjoyed the coconut flakes on the roll, definitely added a different flavour andtexture to the rolls. I?ll definitely return here! Read more

This is an average sushi restaurant on Queen West. The food came out really quickly. The ratio of rice was great as some place... add way too much rice. The presentation of the food was lovely but seemed a bit wasteful with the garnishes as you don?t eatthem. Everything felt fresh, just not the best sushi ever, kind of your down the street good enough spot. The tea they broughtwas never hot, assuming because the restaurant wasn?t busy for dine in and so not much need to make a lot. Maybe it was becausedine in was slow due to the pandemic but there wasn?t any atmosphere if that?s what you?re looking for. The decor and space wasa bit dated, all was clean though. Read more
