Fish & chips. Batter was too crispy n greasy. Over done. The fish however was hot, tender n very tasty! The side of slaw, but... creamier than my tastes, n fries were kinda average. I think the kitchen wasn't on the ball! Who knows. Had a pint of boneshaker ale(dryish, strong taste, bordering bitter but very quenching. n A tall glass of water as well. Sat on the patio. Tldr: service is really, really slow. Food is alright but not worth the wait My experience with most pubs in Toronto is fast... friendly service, my experience here was the opposite. For a small group our dinner took 3 hours on a weeknight. Our serverseemed to focus on serving and getting food out to smaller tables that arrived after ours. It took about 20 minutes afterseating for us to flag a server so we could order. It took 45-50 mins for our food to arrive (a few orders of wings, salad, anda wrap). About 20 mins after eating to be able to ask for the bill. Another 15 for server to arrive with bills that wereincorrect. Once bills were almost paid, server left the table forcing us to wait another 15 mins to come back to complete thepayments. I could understand the delays if our server was the only one working, but there were consistently 2-3 other serverschatting by the bar at the kitchen window throughout the night. Not sure if they were training, but Im not sure what their roleswere and weren't serving tables or taking drink orders. Read more
The ambience was decent. The food and drinks were not upto the mark. They were eye pleasing but taste was so bad. We were so... hungry and was so disappointed with the food. We went here on a Saturday evening and the place didn?t have much crowd. Has heardfrom a friend that the food was good hence decided to visit here, but really upset that the food was not upto the mark. Read more
The menu selection is a tad overwhelming. I don't need 50 choices for pub food. Prices arent the greatest but the portions do... reflect price thankfully. Server was friendly and polite. Atmosphere was decent. Not my first choice but not sad I tried iteither. A great fall back option or when your party cant agree on what kind of food to go for. Literally something from everycorner of the world, it's literally comical. Read more
Friendly staff, quintessential Pub and the Spicy Caesar was fantastic and the Wings are twice fried for that extra crispiness... and super saucy which I love! Delicious all around! The perfect pub hang out! Read more
Decent sports bar. Food was OK for pub food but nothing special. Would definitely go there to watch a game.
