Checked out Tumi Dumpling House, a Northern Chinese spot, for their gluten free dumplings. Service was decent. There's $13.00... lunch special (12:00pm to 3:00pm). - GF pork dumplings ($15.00 for 10) - opted for pan fried ($1.00 extra). Texture was goodbut no dumpling lace. Filling fell flat. - Singapore fried vermicelli ($16.00) - good wok hei. Decent portion size. Would trythe XLB's next time. 3.5 stars. Read more

Xialongbao was the closest I?ve had in Toronto compared to Shanghai. The chicken friend rice and stir fried beef with scallions... was good too. Not very oily yet very delicious. The server was very pleasant and welcoming. She even ran after us to kindlyreturn the iPods we left at the table. Thank you!! Read more

We ordered Pork BAO, steamed vegan dumplings, and panfried dumplings. The guy we ordered from over the phone was very nice. The... food was delicious. Our favorite part was that the leftovers heated up well later that night. I will be going back! Read more

I strongly recommend you to go somewhere else. The braised beef soupe was totaly tasteless, the beef was only parts that you... cannot eat ( see pictures ) the four soup we ordered couldn't be eaten. The noodle are more like pasta with no taste. Thewaitress was doing her best and tried to exchange the meal but her bosses said we couldn't because we touched it and it was justa bad batch of beef. The effort was there she brought a plate of free dumpling and said she was sorry many times. Reallydeceiving Read more

This review is more like 4.5 stars. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. This place is a cute spot for dinner with family... or friends. Roughly 10 small tables in the entire place. Cheap parking on the street or in lots nearby. The menu is easy todigest and has a variety of options. Surprisingly they don?t have a lot of dumpling options despite being called a dumplinghouse??? Ordered a few different dumplings and some green beans for veggies. The dumplings were steamed well and for the mostpart tasty. I wouldn?t recommend the seafood dumpling with egg. Was a bit weird for my taste but it wasn?t horrible. The beanswere cooked well. I would come again or get takeout since there was a never ending stream of takeout the entire time I wasthere. I just wish there were a bit more options of dumplings. Read more

Dumplings for days! What a treat. Terrific, friendly and quick-quick service make this the place to stop in on your way home... for a quick beer and a plate of scrumptious dumplings. Don't tell Mr. or Mrs. At-Home, tho. They'll be green with jealousy! But if they find out, be sure to come back with them for plate after plate (beer after beer) and the Mr. or Mrs. will be happyand satisfied. Promise. Read more

Dumplings were great! Ordered the pan-fried pork and cabbage. They were perfectly pan seared and juicy in the middle. We also... got the steamed beef with celery and mushrooms, which was also very good but not as juicy as the pan fried. I would order bothagain, but not until I try their seafood/pork and lamb! 10/10 meal, thank you! Read more
